This is a great device: the perfect way to add rear surround speakers (or any channel tbh) without trailing cables across the room. It works straight out of the box and to anyone who can already hook up speakers to an AV receiver/amplifier, it’s a piece of cake. There are other options available on the market - with digital or analogue pass through but they are fussy and disrupt your amp’s auto setup and don’t turn up down along with your tv remote like this one does. They have kept it simple so it does what it should do and no more, perfectly.

I have been meaning to connect up the rear speakers on my surround sound system for years but did not want to run cables. This wireless solution is ideal, quick and easy to set up and cannot fault the sound quality. Having rear speakers working makes such a difference to the sound especially on movies and sports. Early days but quality looks decent so hopefully it will last.

It works and has got me in good books for finally removing the cables the went around the skirting boards.. doesn't sound anywhere near as good or subtle as when they were wired but for the money it's a good enough solution

Excellent and easy to set up. I had a two piece system (one for each speaker) but it died. Lovely to have proper surround sound again. Used with Sony SSS

Having had our living room refurbished, I no longer have a big rug to hide wires for my 5.1 Home Theatre surround speakers. I unpacked it all plugged everything in and it just worked immediately. Nice looking compact kit as well. If you know how to fit speaker wire in the clips, you should have no difficulty whatsoever. The volume control on the receiver is a nice touch too, as sometimes the sound balance through the surround channels can vary so I don't have to access the settings in the AV unit. Sound quality seems pretty identical to fully wired as well. I'm now confident I could even upgrade to a 7.1 system and run rears with another of these kits.

I had to resort to this when we decided to move the home theatre setup within the room, but couldn't put dedicated surround speaker cables under the carpet. This seemed like a feasible idea, and suited my AV receiver (which didn't have RCA outputs for those speakers, only speaker power outputs). The units were very simple to install (would have helped to have the legending for the terminals in a contrasting print colour, rather than just the barely visible moulded black plastic lettering, but otherwise OK). Plugged it up, tried it with some Movie material with lots of effects, adjusted the level to suit, on the receiver unit, and all well !

Werkt zoals omschreven. Ideale oplossing om geen kabels te hoeven leggen Het enige is dat je eerst de ontvanger moet uitzetten en na een aantal seconden pas de zender. Doe je dat niet dan hoor een luide tik jn de speakers.

Utilissimo per creare la tua sala cinema senza l'impedimento dei collegamenti. Normalmente, in un impianto audio surround è necessario posizionare gli altoparlanti posteriori collegandoli all'impianto utilizzando cavi conduttori che, sistematicamente, sono brutti da vedere. Con questo apparecchio si risolve questo problema, in quanto il collegamento viene effettuato tramite bluetooth e non fisicamente via cavo; il suo funzionamento è perfetto e non ho rilevato nessun ritardo apprezzabile sull'audio riprodotto dalle casse collegate; il prodotto arriva già configurato e basta effettuare i collegamenti, che si limitano al collegamento delle uscite casse sorround al trasmettitore e le casse surround al ricevitore, per utilizzarlo immediatamente senza necessità di effettuare alcun tipo di accoppiamento perchè arrivano già accoppiati. Gli unici due appunti che si potrebbero fare sono: il sistema rimane sempre acceso e non esiste nessuno stand-by, ma considerando il bassissimo consumo, questo potrebbe essere un problema relativo; il secondo appunto è che, nel caso si vogliano spegnere dopo l'utilizzo, è necessario spegnere prima il ricevitore e poi il trasmettitore per evitare un fastidioso "bump" negli altoparlanti; per l'accensione bisogna invertire le operazioni: prima accendere il trasmettitore e poi il ricevitore. Con un sistema a controllo vocale come quello che ho installato (Alexa), ho automatizzato il tutto con una semplice routine che 1-accende l'impianto, 2-accende il trasmettitore, 3-accende il ricevitore; la seconda routine la utilizzo per lo spegnimento con la giusta sequenza. Concludendo, mi sento sicuramente di consigliarlo perchè oltre al funzionamento perfetto senza nessun disturbo, si risolve definitivamente il problema dei cavi di collegamento.
