Citizen 295-56 Original Capacitor Battery for Eco-Drive

I was quoted £170 by jewellers to get my watch going it cost me all together £45 .

Great piece arrived quickly needs fitting correctly 'bit fiddly' but OK watch now as good as new

Having contacted Citizen UK only to be told that my watch was obsolete and couldn’t be fixed (fair enough as it 20 years old) I was resigned to putting it in a draw and forgetting about it…However, I decided to have a go at replacing the ‘capacitor battery’ myself as the back is a press fit and so relatively straightforward.Also being a genuine Panasonic part the battery fitted easily and now the watch is working a great!However, as I assume the part was new old stock (NOS) then this is probably something to consider because performance of the battery may have degraded hence 4 stars.

This was a replacement for my Citizen Exo-Drive watch. Saved a fortune on watch shop repair!

Bought to replaced life expired capacitor after 21 years in Citizen watch. Watch was £150 in 2003 and now costs £400 for newer model. Capacitor cost £20 and has restored my watch to working order. Over the moon.

First one ddi not seem to charge but was replacd without issue. Not yet installed second one yet.
