This works with the acrylic collar, but my Triton cockatoo still chews through it, so purchasing a few is advisable. The collar doesn’t cure plucking or mutilation, but it helps prevent further damage. On its own, the collar is ineffective, as cockatoos, macaws, and parrots have powerful beaks. Obviously, birds hate wearing it and may seem uncomfortable initially, but it helps prevent the bird from causing more wounds through feather plucking. My Triton is mostly used to it by now. GOOD PRODUCT AND PRICE BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE VELCRO DON'T LAST MORE THAN 5 MINUTES AFTER MY MACAW WEAR IT, AND IT'S HISTORY.

Terrible product. No instructions on how to use it properly. I managed to figure it out after several attempts and he had it off of him in less than 1 minute.

My bird tore it off and chewed it up

It fits nice..easy to get on...only problem is that since it's infection the bird (cockatoo) is still able to bite himself . If it were solid piece instead of sections it would work better

If you have a full sized macaw, don't waste your money is doesn't even cover the wing joints which makes it useless unless you put it on a 6 inch stuffed parrot toy. 😥

Too small armoured of our macaw. Not ideal. He shouldered it in a minute
