Very good quality, solid, and loud enough! It does say 110db on the packaging, although the Amazon ad says 140db, which is a bit weird considering the amount of people who are mentioning it - but it's definitely loud enough as it is. Been using it on my TMax 530, just in case someone was wondering if it fits their one. It's easy to fit, been out in the rain and storm or a few days ago (june 22nd 2016) and therefore was left under the rain, battering rain and winds - and it didn't get off. Happy with that. I would recommend this item, no problem at all, and i'm considering buying another one for the back wheel too. Of course, to avoid getting your bike stolen, multiply the security - I also bought a good chain and lock, and I have a ground anchor for the front driveway - surely they won't try to steal my bike again!

Poor quality. Alarm was working only few weeks. Waste money!

I use this daily on my motorcycle while it's in the company bike shed. It's well constructed, easy to use and must have a good battery life as I haven't changed the batteries since I bought it 7 moths ago. The alarm isn't very loud, but it does enough to attract attention in the area where I use it. I find most people just ignore alarms anyway, so volume isn't that much of an issue to me.

Good lock but the inside rusted out within a few months. Got stuck on the bike and due its nature it was an ear splitting hour getting it off!!

The quality seems good ... two keys .. no tags to get new key . So you loose the keys your STUFFED. Asked about it and no help. Update its March and now it won't alarm . Green discharge from opening .

Got this lock ti replace one that got snapped by thieves who stole my bike recovered thanks ti tracking device . I like the fact that it arms itself as you lock it. I tried it with bike cover on windy day and the alarm didn’t go off so it’s not wind sensitive and wouldn’t disturb your neighbours in the late hours of the night . Heavy item and would definitely put off many thieves . Beware of those who wheel bikes off though and chain your bike to a post or ground anchor. Overall very happy with purchase .

Very loud alarm when triggered....however is also very loud when locking or unlocking it! maybe an updated version could have a half volume locking/un-locking

Quite a decent d lock, it doesn't go off very easy, like wind or slight movement, didn't had a theft attempt, but it takes harsh movement on the bike or a touch to the lock to warn you, if touched second time, it goes off, the sound is loud but I would have preferred louder, it wouldn't wake me up from sleeping.
