Q: Does it arrive assembled?

It does arrive assembled and the instructions for use are straight-forward. My only regret regarding this machine is that I should have bought it years earlier. Brilliant bit of kit and can tackle hard woods with ease..

Q: What oil do you use cheers

The Forest Master lightweight is an electric log splitter and not an hydraulic therefore only need's oil on sliding parts to keep it maintained unlike an hydraulic one that requires motor, pump, reservoir and oil

Q: Can this be used as a kindling maker

It is possible to bundle pallet wood using sticky tape and split it into kindling that way

Q: Can this log splitter be used without the cage

Hi, the cage is a new regulation which we must adhere to. The splitter was used for the past 10 years without a cage, we cannot advise to use without. Regards
