These are hefty wood butter spreaders, made from teak, without toxic materials, and a beautiful addition to our wooden utensils in the kitchen. Great for butter, jam, cream cheese, almond butter, etc. I wash by hand and I can't get over the excellent quality of these teak wood spreaders. Wish I had these when my kids were younger! These will last a long time no doubt!

The company FAAY makes such beautiful hand made teak utensils. I use these as condiment & butter spreaders, as well as to loosen baked goods in my non-stick scone pan and sometimes to cut food while I am cooking in my non-stick fry pans. They will not scratch. I have a whole collection of FAAY utensils, including some left-handed ones they offer. This purchase supports a small business that produces well made teak utensils with no chemicals.... and they are NOT made in China.

Absolutely love these teak butters spreaders. They're comfortable and easy to hold, sturdy, don't tear bread, scoop jams and jellies easily. I got a couple of metal spreaders originally and FAR prefer these. My only complaint, which isn't much, is that they're a great size for kids, but I have large hands and sometimes wish they were a tiny bit longer! But even just as they are they work SO well, even with nearly frozen solid butter. WELL worth the money. Thinking of buying more "just because"!

Wanted to try this spreader because it was wood and attractive. I find the spreader to be a little thick, however, great otherwise. Seems to wash well, holds up very well, attractive wooden product. Would work better on cheese spreads, not sharp edge.

These are wonderful. I love all of my Faay products. These little spreader are perfect, thick enough to put butter on English muffin and cream cheese on a bagel. Plan on getting another set.

These are nice - the wood is beautiful, and to the extent such a thing is possible, they work more smoothly than a metal knife for spreading butter, jam, etc. I like having them in my kitchen.
