Great multi use tool. Well made.
So good at hogging out larger bowls or scoops. It can also be used to shape a.chair seat if that's a project in your future. It feels good in the hand and moves material surprisingly well. Beavercraft have a good one here.

Excellent Adze
My husband has been wanting one of these for ages, he has the matching axe. I got it for Xmas for him and he is very happy . He is looking for wood to play with it now! He loves carving spoons and he says this will be wonderful for that.

Good but needs work
Overall, it’s a good small bowl adze not my preference. I prefer outside radius bevel instead of an inside radius, bevel came pretty dull, took me about 2 1/2 hours to re-profile re-sharpen if you know what you’re doing and know how to sharpen an inside bevel adze it’s not a bad deal, straight out of the box it barely would cut green alder. I mostly make bowls out of green alder and maple but it’ll be good to addition to my collections of adze’s.

Higher quality than expected
Very good quality tool. Comes razor sharp and the edge holds up to consistent use so far. I purchased this to scallop out siding for a custom job and have only needed to touch up the blade once. Better than expected

Ich habe erst vor kurzem angefangen mit Schnitzen und bin sehr begeistert von Gegenständen die man auch benutzten kann. Daher wollte ich mich ans Schüsselschnitzen wagen. Da ich schon einige Werkzeuge von BeaverCraft habe, lag es nahe eine Dechsel von dieser Marke zu kaufen. Ich muss sagen, sie hält wS sie verspricht und ist auch als Frau gut zu händeln. Ein bisschen nachschärfen sollte man sie schon, wobei ich sie sofort für Kirschholz genutzt habe. Weichholz sollte damit aus der Packung heraus funktionieren. Gut verarbeitet, mit Lederschutz und Tragering! 5 Sterne!
