My dog is a picky eater. He will eat a food for a short time and quit. He loves this food. He has been on several expensive brands. I feel it must taste good to him.

My picky poodle finally ate his dog food! He has refused to eat many kinds of the dog food, including the small bite of lamb flavor of this brand. So happy that we found the right food for him. This food is a little expensive, but as long as my dog eats it, it’s worth it.

I liked the large 30 lb bag, great product received every 2 months from Amazon. Package delivered yesterday on my front porch was swiped by someone. Will have to drive to pet store now to pick up dog food for my dog.

I have used this dry dog food for 11 years. I originally began using it with my pit bulls who were allergic to beef, and Nutro Ultra Large Breed dog food contains no beef or beef by products. We started the dogs on Nutro Puppy food at 10 weeks. After a year of using the adult food, I realized how good it was for my other 2 dogs that did not have beef allergies. All the dogs had beautiful coats, lots of energy, a healthy weight, and smaller stools that prior to using Nutro Ultra. Although I lost both pits to bone cancer (inherited trait) , the other two large mix-breed dogs are now 13 and 14 years old and doing well for senior large breed dogs. My new rescue pit is also thriving on the Nutro. I will continue to use it with all my future dogs as long as the formula produces the same results. I highly recommend it to anyone with large breed dogs, especially if they have food allergies.

We fed our dogs Nutro Ultra for many years until they jacked up the price during and after the COVID pandemic by almost 100%. I will not support this company any longer. Other dog foods did not raise prices to this extreme. Thumbs down, Nutro!

Since all of this scare with dog food seriously making dogs ill and even causing their death. Last year we adopted a 3 year old American/English bulldog. He is more American. I wanted to make sure that our dog was safe at least regarding his food especially when I learned that our friends dog passed before his time from food. I did my research for what brands were best for American Bulldogs. I found out that some of the best dog foods, changed their formula and were making dogs sick. Nutro Ultra was on the list for best dog foods for a bulldog, and did not show reviews of making dogs sick, so I switched him to it. He has been on it for over a year and I even had Nutro Ultra sent monthly through the subscribe and save programs. Yes, you can find cheaper dog food, bit at what cost?Well, my husband didn't feel that we should be spending this much on dog food, so he bought cheap grocery store dog food. Within 2 weeks of that cheap dog food, our fur baby was peeing blood. After a nice size vet bill yesterday, and our fur baby put on medication, we were told to toss that cheap stuff and put him back on Nutro Ultra. To be continued....

Nutro is the only dog food I’ve ever seen that makes a noticeable difference in both my goldens coat, and activity with two weeks use.
