I love these Fray Bentos steak pies…… mostly for the gravy and crispy pastry as the steak is a little “ Conspicuous by it’s (almost not there) absence” ……… the gravy tastes like gravy ie savoury (not like some other gravies that taste a bit sweet.) serve with floury mashed potatoes and vegetables , I really enjoy Fray Bentos steak pies …… even better £2:00 each on Amazon, good value for money, simply put in oven and you have two good servings. Awarded 4 stars because there is not much steak, but I buy them for the gravy and pastry.

This is still an excellent, tasty product and fits in my air fryer a treat!

These pies last forever and cook perfectly, are they the best? No, but they are just a solid, cheap pie. Definitely prefer the other flavors like the Christmas special or the Tikka, but these are fine!
