Gift for my 3 1/2 year old grandson and he is thrilled! The large, button he presses to speak into the front of the walkie talkie is very user friendly for a toddler. No worry about having to select stations for communication with the partner walkie talkie, it is a single, direct reception/connection. Worked great in 2 different levels of our house, outside deck to inside house was crisp and clear and was outstanding when we went fishing and did not have cell phone reception. Well worth the price and an awesome gift for a toddler through age 12. Also, the optional wrist grip you receive was a real bonus for both the toddler and the adult or friend.

Absolutely the best random impulse purchase for Christmas in my life! Stumbled upon these walkie talkies while searching for a joint Christmas gift that my 7 year old nephew and 5 year old niece could share. I didn't want something overly expensive because of how short their attention spans are at that age, so this was perfect. Immediately after opening, both kids put down their "main" gifts which were larger and more expensive and for the next 2 hours they used these TMNT walkie-talkies to play hide and seek, Marco Polo, and a few other made up games lol👍 Low price should NOT be a deterrent because you get more than you expect out of this item! Very simple for young kids to understand and get the hang out using. As for distance, they work great in a huge 3 floor house, but have yet to try them outside and see the clarity as the distance between the walkie-talkies gets bigger. All in all, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a shared joint gift for young children!

I got this for a 6-year-old's birthday who was being a Stormtrooper. I like the idea of Stormtrooper and Darth Vader walkie talkies. I also got these because these were almost the only thing that didn't come with a weapon. 2 AA batteries are required for each walkie talkie which is not included. It says it works up to 500 feet but I wasn't able to test that far. At home the sound was loud enough to hear. However, you could barely hear it in a larger area. I was planning to have the child find me but had to have a change of plans. They do look cheap, but this price range I think it is decent.

Super cute fun idea for toddlers to use around the house. We live very close to my nephews and they call each other through the house. They fit into their little hands and they are pretty durable. Very easy to use.

Christmas gift for a nephew. He lives turtles. He was super excited for this gift. Very good for a gift. Range is not real far but far enough for around the farm.
