ASICS Men's Trabuco Max 2 Running Shoes

These eat up the trails. Had little issue traversing through sand, gravel and mud. ASICS really did a great job creating the sole for this shoe. It’s a somewhat wide toe box allowing for pretty good comfort. It’s definitely on the heavier side for a trail runner but it makes up for it with the added protection you’ll receive from rocks and roots. The appearance is thicker than most running shoes but that’s expected from a trail runner. It’s a very stable shoes despite the high rise. The max cushion comes in handy, I was able to take these on a 6 mile run through Boston and had no fatigue or pain. I have a bad knee and had no issue when wearing these. Like I said I wore these in Boston on pavement, it’s a very versatile shoe if that’s what you need. I wouldn’t make it your primary runner for roads as there’s the possibly of wearing down the studs faster. All in all though these max 2s are great. Pick them up while they last!

I am a huge fan of HOKA shoes and have been wearing them for years. So I am very surprised at the comfort and pressure relieving capacity that these new Asics have! I've worn them for 3 work shifts and they padded my feet very well. I am impressed. I'd say they are true to size, but a bit narrow.

Plenty of cushion! Thanks to everyone who recommended going up a half size, they fit perfectly with a nice wide (but not too wide) toe box. This is the first pair of shoes I have bought online because I couldn't find them locally. I looked through the reviews and made the right choice. The soles are amazing and really show their superior grip on wet surfaces. They roll you forward with each stride . It's the first pair of real trail running shoes I have bought and am quite happy with them.

Very comfortable, wide toebox. Straight out of the box they felt perfect. On my first trail run, I did have to stop to tighten the laces but I am still experimenting with them. An improvement on Trabuco Max 1 and honestly the most underrated trail shoe of the year.

These have moved into my top rotation in running shoes. They are very comfortable, as well as breathable. Not to mention they have superb traction. I would highly recommend these.

The most impact softening running shoe I’ve ever owned. Great spring as well. It doesn’t have a knit upper, or a carbon plate like the Alphafly’s so it’s not the lightest shoe. The stack is too high for a marathon, but if you’re a runner who wants a comfortable shoe for long runs, and cushion that will last 100’s of miles, then this one is for you!

Bin jetzt seit 6 Monaten intensiv im Lauftraining und habe bis dato immer Schuhe bis maximal 60€ verwendet. Die Investition hat sich beim Asics definitiv gelohnt. Meine Trails laufen sich quasi wie auf Wolke 7 und auch Asphalt Abschnitte laufen sich mit dem Schuh super. Von meiner Seite aus 100% Kauf- und Weiterempfehlung.

Wie erwartet gepasst, gerade für Läufer mit etwas breiteren Füßen gut geeignet. Auch nach 20 km sind die Knochen "entspannt", da merkt man keinen Stein durch und der Stand ist gut und sicher. Jederzeit wieder.
