Sturdy, secure, easy to assemble, lightweight to carry. It’s my first time needing a carrier for my rabbits. It’s their first vet trip. I read a wonderfully helpfully review of this carrier, from somebody mentioning she liked the bolt feature (something I hadn’t considered to be a feature to look out for). She mentioned it adds extra security if the side clips fail or break. After reading reviews of other carriers, people mentioned the clips broke or the bottom fell off in transit and the animal fell out. So, it was a big reason I purchased this carrier, because the top and bottom can also be bolted with metal screws and not just rely on the plastic clips to hold them together. However, when assembling the carrier, the screw went in fine, but I struggled to attach the washer on the other end, it was fiddly, no helpful tool supplied to do it and I couldn’t tighten them fully with my fingers. In the end, I just used black cable ties instead of the screw bolts. Easier when dissembling for storage that way, just cut the ties instead of fiddling with a bunch of six screws. I’m pleased it can open from the top via the handle, or from the front cage entrance. The gate felt thick, rather than thin wire. The clasp feature to lock it felt very secure. I feel the rabbits will be safe and secure and can’t escape, God-willing! I bought the small 19” size because it won’t be used often, or for long journeys (vets is 10min drive away). My rabbit is the size of a small-medium cat/dog. He is a fully grown Lop rabbit, 18mth old (not dwarf or mini). In my opinion, This carrier will be suitable for a medium sized adult rabbit, or a small-medium cat. I don’t think it’s suitable for an animal of this size for a long journey over 30-45min long, as there isn’t too much space for stretching/sprawling out, or standing on hind legs. If the animal is returning from vet treatment and needing to lay/rest with minimal movement, then it’s ideal. It will also be fine for short journeys, if the animal has had exercise time prior to entering the carrier, they’ll likely stay still and sleep. For a long, lengthy journey, or for a larger cat/dog/rabbit etc, I’d suggest buying the bigger size option. Very happy with this purchase. The price was very good compared to some options that didn’t appear to be as good. My only regret is not buying the larger size, just incase I ever want to do a long journey with them (I should of thought that through better!) at least it will be easy for storage and also, the bottom section of the carrier can be used as a spare litter tray when not used for the carrier feature (yes, for those who don’t own rabbits, they can be litter trained like cats).

I would give this 20 stars if I could. I've just returned another brand which was very expensive but the front 'door' had started going rusty after just a few months. This carrier is better designed, better made, sturdier, safer, better top opening mechanism and a solid top door, better side catches, better and stronger front opening mechanism, and half the price!

This is a great cat carrier - sturdy, really roomy and easy to assemble. I love the top opening feature. Unfortunately delivery was woeful - courier lost it and I was told it wasn't going to arrive. Amazon promptly refunded my money, and eventually the carrier did arrive. Worth the wait.

This is a great size, high quality carrier. If you have an adult cat you want this size (the bigger size). My cats vary in size but this one will be great for all of them. It doesn't just clip together it also is secured with nuts and bolts which are a bit fiddly if you have long nails but overall really easy to put together. If you have a cat on the slightly chunky side this just makes the whole thing feel much more secure. While it doesn't come with a shoulder strap it does have the clips so you could attach a shoulder strap if you wanted. The front door of the carrier is really good quality and very secure and you can also open from the top, removing a top panel. This I think makes it ideal if your cat is going for an operation at the vets because they can just open the top and place the cat back inside. It's a really well thought out design. Obviously the cat hates it because she knows cat carrier equals vet trip but she has a lot of room inside and she may hate it but I'm confident she'll be comfy and secure in there.

Our feline friend loves this and sleeps in it by choice, which makes subsequent trips to the vet or cattery far less onerous. A super added feature is that it is also top opening in addition to the usual end door. It's robust, transports well and isn't unattractive if permanently placed on display in the house. Good value and highly recommended.

I purchased three of these pet carriers after noting that I would be able to secure them with bolts as well as clips. Too many carriers are clip only, or they are expensive for bolt secure only. This added safety feature is really important to me, knowing what can happen when a clip only carrier is dropped (Local cat lost after carrier was dropped in vet parking lot and it broke open due to clip failure)! Accidents can happen and I would be heartbroken if a clip failed and my cat escaped onto the road and was lost or worse. The top flap is also secure and spring loaded as stated in the description, this I found was smooth to operate on all 3 carriers that I received, requiring one side or the other to be pulled in order to release the top flap, however if you were concerned about that being a point of exit, it would be easy to zip tie or use string to tie the end of the top flap to the back and sides of the carrier for those of us that happen to be paranoid about that sort of thing, or if you have a pet that likes to try to force open any exit it is aware of. The front door also has spare holes so if needed they could be tied shut. The wire door is heavy (but not too heavy!) and feels very sturdy to hold, much better than carriers I have had in the past. For the price I feel this is a great and sturdy buy. My cats are all quite small under 10lbs each, so I got the 19-inch sizes. I've placed them out with blankets in them since my cats also enjoy using carriers for snoozing spots, this is a good idea for any cat owner to do as kitty will become used to the carrier and not just associate it with trips to the scary vet place!

Great quality! Easy to assemble, and easy to carry. I keep mine out and open as my cat actually likes to sleep in it at night time which I wasn’t expecting at all.

I have a little girl, just over 4kg, sweet as a button until the carrier comes out, then raving banshee comes to mind...so, l need her to have room to wriggle safely. She also can escape a standard carrier. She poops and or wee's in the carrier too, so, before l put her in the carrier, l am putting in a pee mat and a blanket, with all the extra, l have to say, she's a comfortable fit in it. Carrier is a little fiddly to put together, but nothing a little patience can overcome. It's also lighter than l thought. Very pleased with it, so l would recommend this carrier. (Absolutely hate the colour of the thing, but at the end of the day, it's not important)

Excellent. I ordered it in a hurry as I had to travel with our fluffy friend. He loves it and I love it too as it is sturdy, compact, good looking and safe. Comes with two openings one at the top and one in front and the mechanism is also convenient and secure. It will definitely make our journey worry free. I took the 23 inch variant which gives more than enough space for a 6 months old Persian cat and I am sure it can accommodate him when he will grow up to his optimum size. There is a 19 inch variant also which could fit him as well, but we India parents are futuristic and tend to buy larger size for our kids. Jokes apart, it is a good investment as I believe it will last long. I will add images and updates after six months of use. But if you are looking for a carrier l, I would suggest you can definitely buy this one.

Caisse achetée pour mon chat d'un an ... L'ancienne trop petite il n'aimait pas y entrer, avec celle-ci il n'y réchigne pas, plus large, solide, bien conçue avec des renforts de tous côtés et impossible à ouvrir même pour un animal remuant. L'ouverture du dessus est très pratique. Je recommande par sa conception, robustesse et la place pour que votre animal y soit bien.

Este transportín es maravilloso. Necesitaba un transportín espacioso y que me proporcionara tranquilidad al saber que mi gatito iba a ir cómodo y seguro para hacerle más ameno el trago. Mi Nilo es un siamés red point, aun pequeño (10 meses) y algo delgado, pues lo adoptamos hace poquito y lo encontraron muy desnutrido en la calle... Ahora mismo va súper cómodo y tranquilito cuando tenemos que llevarlo al veterinario (que es para lo único que lo hemos usado de momento, un trayecto corto) Tiene bastante espacio para tumbarse e incluso dar vueltas. Aunque aun no pase de los 5 kilos, es un gato bastante largo, y como digo, va muy cómodo. Creo que aun cuando coja más peso y crezca más, le seguirá yendo de maravilla. Fácil montaje. Los cierres funcionan a la perfección. A pesar de que mi gato vaya tranquilo, algún que otro intento de salir hace, y empuja la puerta cuando le parece con sus patitas o su cabecita, ya sabemos que a nuestros peluditos no les gustan estos chismes... y aun así, no tiene manera de abrirla jeje .La puerta superior me parece de gran utilidad si el gordito pone resistencia por la puerta principal. Además es muy práctico, lo suficientemente espacioso para Nilo y lo suficientemente recogido para llevarlo en el coche o transportarlo andando sin que resulte un trasto. Sin duda, magnífica compra. Si estáis buscando un transportín para gatos grandes, cómodo y seguro, este es el vuestro.

This is a very well built carrier. We need to have a safe secure place for our three cats in case we have to evacuate for fires. Bought one and we couldn't be more impressed! Very strong and the two pieces are screwed together! A cat would not be able to pry them apart! There are two doors one on the top and one on an end. They are both very secure! So impressed, we now have three, one for each cat.
