I bought this as a stocking filler for my 10 year old son. I have two older kids, so ive seem my share of kids science kits. This is the best science kit ive had. The box is packed full materials and apparatus. Everything you need for the experiments are in the box ( bar a few common household items, like a empty bottle and some fairy liquid), with enough to complete the experiments more than once. Its a quilty kit, ive not seen one with such an extensive list of materias before. If i had to be picky and list a con, it would be that theres not always a explanation for the experiment. A how and why this happens is appreciated so the kids can learn while they have fun. Its easy enough to google anything I can't explain away as magic 😉 Still an amazing science kit.

Brought this for my 4 year old daughter & she loves it! It comes with all the items you needed & all clearly in packets.. Great quality jars & other reusable items so when the ingredients have run out you can buy more & carry on using them. The instruction book has pictures of the results and easy for little ones to follow. All in all great value for what you get compared with other similar brands

This was a gift for my 6 year old grandaughter. She loved it but have only completed one experiment . Preferred more instructions as mainly in german

We were fully prepared to be a little disappointed in this kit, since past experiences have told us that the photos over sell the quality and sometimes quantity of what is inside. We were happily proved wrong! Everything inside is clearly bagged and labelled, the plastic beakers and equipment is really robust, and Goblinkid never wants to take the googles off! If you buy this for a 4yo, expect to have to help out A LOT! we got it for Goblinkid's 8th birthday and the instructions are clear enough that he can do most of it independently and understand some of the actual science when reading the booklet. He's done about 20 experiments so far, and they have all worked! (The only crystal growing kit to ever have done so 😅) Heartily recommend for curious kids aged 6+

Plenty to keep a 9 year old entertained. Some good experiments in there, and not as cheap and nasty as some kits can be. Can't fault it at the price point.
