Works perfect out of the box
I found the original TCL TV's remote to be impractical in size. Way too long, too thick. So I bought this, to try to replace the original. It worked immediately after put in the batteries, zero issues, hassles. This is almost perfect both in size and functions; except missing the mute button feature, as I routinely mute commercials. I hope it'll last. FYI: I do not use voice commands and I don't use/need the light-up feature either. Except for the mute button, I miss nothing of the old TCL remote.

Lose one buy one
My mother lost her remote control, so I ordered this one, same remote she had. It was very easy to connect to her TV. Great price.

Great quality
Purchased my TV from a friend but came with no remote. Ordered this replacement and it worked great. No need to pair or set up. Great quality and does not feel cheap!! Took it right out of my Amazon delivery bag, placed the 2 AAA batteries and turned on my TV. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Back cover breaks.
It's a remote. Just the same one that came with the TV. Main issue is that the back cover cracks about 1/3rd up from the bottom, just after the batteries. Same crack for both the original and the replacement. It is a weird plastic that is almost a translucent black and does not take super glue well, especially since it is right where whatever stress that breaks it is.

Pretty good remote
Came very quick, was very easy to connect. I literally pointed it to the tv(after putting batteries in ofc) and it immediately turnt on. It does have some moments where it takes harder pressing for it to acknowledge it. It has to be pointed directly at the sensor to work. Overall, it’s a pretty good investment for the price, haven’t had any major issues so far.

Doesn’t work
It doesn’t work, tried using it right out the box and it didn’t work. I tried putting it in pairing mode, and it still didn’t work. Tried two different pairs of brand new batteries. Waste of money and time waitin for it to come.
