I absolutely love this tent. More than that though, the AD I used it in front of last week loved it, too, and so did the client on the shoot. Materials are excellent, you can anchor it to a platform, it's got little holes to poke leads through. My setup was a tripod, with a laptop platform attached, with the iCap on top, anchored using the supplied chords, and then a small clamp just to give it a bit of extra hold. The laptop felt extremely safe inside, and I didn't worry about it at al during the shoot. Blocks light perfectly, and is great for when you're shooting people who like to stare at the screen while you work. They can't see anything, so no distractions. Would 1200% recommend this to anyone. The reviewer below who had so much trouble folding it that it bent, I would say he has a point, BUT, you have to really get it wrong to break it. There's so much tension in the wires that you can feel when you're bending it the wrong way. Getting it down is about twice as fiddly as a collapsible reflector, but it's not like that's a terribly difficult thing to do, so as long as you're reasonably careful, and you respect the angle of the wires, it's fine.

Great addition to pitchside shooting although with a 13’ MacBook Pro and a portable hard drive and card reader it’s a very snug fit and I kinda wish I’d gone a size up now, got absolutely blasted by hail, rain and wind this past month but done the job

Struggling to find suitable alternatives I have revisited this item. I have accessed their extensive tutorial videos and I can report success. With a little patience on my part and following the video instructions I have been able to open and refold the product. The screen itself offers very good protection from glare and also light rain

Purchased on Friday used on Saturday at QPR v Derby where it rained solidly all day, kept the laptop dry without problem, a bit of a faff to fold it back into it's bag, but all that will take is a little practice.

Does exactly what it says it does. Took a few attempts to work out how to fold it and get it back in the pouch, but brilliant bit of kit!

essential for all videographers, Mac is safe no matter the weather
