Excellent product! Easy to use, the manual is helpful, so is the carrying case. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality and how well it works right out of the box - the SD card is ready to take photos, the connection to the cable feels very secure, the battery was still mostly full even though it sat on the shelf after purchase for 5 months. The light is very bright, too. While the interface is not exactly intuitive, the manual clarifies how to do things that are not immediately apparent: long press Ok to enter photo review mode, long press on "back" semi-circle button to switch cameras. We used it to determine that we have baby racoons and not poltergeist making thumping noises in our eaves. The quality of the photos was excellent, the picture I uploaded doesn't do it justice! We taped it to an expandable pole for window washing for poking it through the eaves. Fishing line would probably work well, too. Even though the description says "semi-rigid", it was hard to get it to go straight in the open space in the direction we needed. It may work better in the pipes, which is what we originally got it for and then never used as intended. The device would not charge with the super fast charger for my phone, I had to dig out an older charging block. Great value for the price, five stars!

Bought this for one purpose- going out sewer line to find the outdoor clean out, long buried under lawn. Cheaper unit I already had just wouldn't work, one issue after another. These are handy tools for many things, but most have short focus some only 1-2 ", and a variety of issues. This device- perfect. First- the depth of what is in clear focus is much more than the listing describes. It's at least 18". Second, the light level is very bright. Between those two factors, it's easy to see issues quickly. Cable- also just right. I pushed the camera 28 ft out before finding the cleanout. Straightened it as it went, which was easy. Never buckled or kinked, it just pushed along. Image on the display- excellent. Really excellent. Instructions are clear, simple. Two points to mention. When you put a camera in anything dirty, it's easy to gunk up the lens. I took a piece of stainless wire and made a coil with a couple legs. Taped the legs to the cable, so the camera was inside the little cage. That kept the camera off the bottom and sides, zero problems. Occurred to me after the fact that one could take a small wire "kitchen whisk" and make something like this easily. The second is that the system comes in a very nice case. However as is often true with long hoses and wires, it's nearly impossible to wind them up as neatly as they came- and if you don't, you won't be able to get it back in the space made for it in the case. Depstech could improve on both points; provide a removable camera cage, enlarge the cable storage pocket. Overall, this device performs on a truly professional level.

Would've been an easy 5 star, but the main camera stopped working and we opted to return instead of try to replace/repair. Awesome product prior to that though. Clear, color pic. Main camera and side camera. Can rotate picture on screen to orient to your liking and have split screen to show both cameras simultaneously. Much longer cable than many offer. It holds a charge well. Excellent price with daily deal offer. Aside from the camera malfunctioning which is the main purpose/function of course, the only complaint is that you can't really sit it down unless you have a sturdy place that you can mount it.

Excellent investigative product with 3 lenses, 50FT Semi-Rigid Cable and 5" screen endoscope camera with lights, which came with a very handy, beautiful carrying case. Camera came with the charger, user manual and a 32G MicroSD card. I would say that the appearance of the package and the initial quality of the instrument itself could indicate that the entire package would cost much more than the advertised price. I used this instrument to investigate conditions inside the wall and above a drop ceiling making only small openings for the cable with lenses, achieving results what I purchased this instrument for. Viewing quality is fine; 1080p, but higher resolution like 4K would be much better. Also, it would take practice and patience to move the cable inside tight spaces to get to the needed location. I did not make video and I did not take pictures, because this was a test only. However, I will shortly go back to repeat the investigation at which time I will take both; pictures and a video, so at that time I would be able to assess video and pictures quality. Camera is being advertised as a waterproof, which I am not sure what it means; could it be completely submerged in water for a short time when moving through the plumbing traps? I may need to use this camera for such applications, so I hope I would get the answer to my question from the seller/manufacturer before I could damage my instrument. Overall, after the initial test, I am able to say that this is an excellent product, which I strongly recommend to the potential buyers.
