Great value for a lot of power.
Excellent device. Good value for money. Plenty of outputs for many pedals and three of them are 500mA outputs which is great for power-hungry pedals. Easy to charge and also has a light switch to turn off the bright led lights if required. Nice compact design which is built very well. I purchased to power pedals that are prone to ground noise in a small studio and it is now completely noiseless. Highly recommended.

Tough and quiet.
This has been a great power unit. Fits neatly under my board and powers 8 pedals. Has survived being kicked around at 30 or so rowdy gigs. No noise or other issues.

Joyo PSU Rocks the house.
A power supply I bought in order to rig up some pedals I had in a toolbox inside the lid of a Boss BCB-6 which was gathering dust in my wardrobe. I already had a Joyo pedal so I figured this PSU was likely to work with it. I was right. I had initially bought a cheap PSU with a plug and daisy chain elsewhere but immediately recognised it was noisy and it was not up to the task. I clearly needed something substantial, and thus needed to spend a bit more. A few of similar unbranded units get poor reviews. I was pleased to discover this Joyo unit does not hum or make unnecessary noise. It had no problem powering up each of my pedals. It was easy to set up and I ended up using Velcro to fix it inside the lid and stop it slipping about. There are a number of choices for voltage, 9V, 12V and 18V. My pedals were all 9V. There are blue LEDs that light up to show you the unit is switched on and powered up, and probably provide a bit of extra light if you are on stage. You can also turn this feature off if it's not for you. In short, this does work and it works well. It currently powers six pedals and the maximum is ten. Installation was simple, and although it cost a lot more than the £8 cheap plug-in daisy chain I initially bought it's miles better. I think it was about £30. It was worth the extra, no question. It's only had light home use so I can't vouch for its longevity or extended use under stage conditions, but I have had no significant problems with it and find it easy to recommend this Joyo PSU to a casual guitarist who just wants to pick up and play with the minimum of fuss. One point worth mentioning. There were a couple of small extension leads in the box. I found them to be hopeless. They don't work. The output jacks didn't go all the way in to power up some of my pedals. Avoid using them altogether if you can. Also, read the instructions to make sure you use the right leads in the right places, as otherwise they could cause some damage as well as inconvenience. Check the ratings of your pedals, so you plug them into the right slots. Overall, a pretty simple upgrade and I'm glad I got it. Recommended.

Every pedalboard needs one
A fantastic power supply with enough power to last a whole show and then some. Small and neat so you can tuck it away on your pedalboard and all the power cables are supplied. 9v and 12v pedals are catered for, plenty of volts for all the digital stuff and it's nice to be able to charge your phone or iPad while you're playing. So good I bought two of them.

Good idea but exaggerated spec.
The concept us good and the item seems well-built. It certainly avoids relying on finding a power socket on a gig. Just don't rely on the specs. I have never got a full recharge in less than 3.5 hours, usually nearer 4. To be really useful it has to be fitted inside the pedal board. That means extending the contacts and putting in switch and sockets. If you're uneasy about doing that it may not be ideal for you.

Incredible!
Absolutely fantastic power supply for the money! I'm surprised it's so cheap! Powers a good chunk of my pedals and has a good variety of outputs for different miliamps and voltages to power those power hungry digital pedals. I've had Absolutely no problem with any excess noise from the power supply and I'm also completely blown away by how long the battery lasts! Even when it was on the red indication, which means you need to charge it, I got another 2 and a half hours out of it powering 8 pedals! Literally can't fault it! Absolute steal at this price point!

No hum no more
Have a looper and three pedals which had a lot of hum with simple power supply and daisy chain. This has reduced the hum to next to nothing and even improved the sound of my guitars. Well built and good price.

Great PSU, works well, low noise.
Great PSU, works well, low noise, great price. I'm using it to power 3 high power 500mA units and a couple of standard pedal. I've had noise issues in the past with individual PSUs but this does a great job powering everything, adding no noise, all from a single plug. great unit.

If your like most Guitar/Bass players you have pedals and a board. Batteries are a pain and most of these boxes are not easily and quickly opened. Further if your board is packed its even more inconvenient. This is where a power supply comes in. No need to change batteries any more and mess up your board. Case closed right? Not quite. Power supplies have there issues. Cheap ones can give you all kinds of headaches. everything from noise to lack of headroom and channel separation. There are perfect power supplies but you have to mortgage your house and put your first born up as collateral. However there are some in the mid to low price range that are pretty decent in handling these issues. This Joyo Power supply has been designed to mitigate all those issues and more and still be within range of some one with a moderate income. I'm a Bass player and have 7 pedals on my board and they all have plenty of quiet power with good isolation and this has its own internal battery that acts like a UPS or if you want that pure DC with no AC rectification you can have it. I think this really represents one of the best bang for the Bucks purchases you can make.

Por el momento, todo perfecto. Se siente de buena calidad y funciona muy bien.

So far works great. Love the fact of not having to find a crappy AC power supply and moving my pedal board where ever I want

After waiting 3 weeks for my order, it was finally shipped, but did not include the NZ standard wall power adapter, even though I had spesifically requested it. I like the battery backup feature, but unfortunately the 12VDC output is only 100mA, where as most 12VDC effects pedals need at least 300mA. So this pedal is only made more for small analog pedals that don't need much. Not a bad product, just not what I expected - there are other power supplies out there that are better in my opinion (like the Mooer). If you only have minimum power requirements and would like to build a small mobile pedalboard for simple gigs, while charging your phone/tablet - this one will work.
