Well designed and executed
It fits perfectly with my work sharp unit and takes the small amount of wobble in the blade holder

Works as advertised
It does what it says itโs supposed to. A little tight to get in underneath the clamp. Knurling very good so itโs easy to adjust. Be careful not to apply too much pressure, I can see how you can overcompensate and push the clamp upward. One nice little 3D printed tool.

FIXES WORKSHARPS MISSED FLAW
FIXES THE FATAL FLAW THAT WORKSHARP MISSED YEARS AGO. THATS THE REASON '''''METAL''''' IS THE WAY TO GO, WITH PRECISION EQUIPMENT. PLASTIC SUCKS, BUT THIS PIECE OF PLASTIC FIXES THEIR FLAW. COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW '''FLIMSY'' THIS SHARPENER IS. SOLD MY WICKED EDGE GEN 3 PRO, AND WAS LEFT WITH THE ORIGINAL WORKSHARP, I BOUGHT YEARS AGO.

Elegant Solution
This little brace gets five stars because it is exactly what we mean in engineering when we talk about "elegant" solutions. It addresses a significant issue in a clever, simple way and it doesn't create any new or additional problems. And it's inexpensive, good value for money. For the reviewers reporting that the brace falls out of position: I haven't had the problem, but it looks easy to fix if you do. A dab or two of double-sided tape would surely take care of it. Threads too loose? I don't have that problem. When the brace is extended to a snug fit between clamp and WSPA base, the increased friction from compression prevents counter-rotation of the two parts. I can see how that could happen, of course. If it did, I'd just wrap tape bridging the two pieces of the brace. Easy to do, easy to change. I think the reviewer who said that s/he could get equal results without the brace is probably right. Most of us who have been sharpening for a while can get an acceptable edge for rough work freehand, using a sidewalk as a whetstone (pleased don't do that with good knives!). A little flex in the clamp might be no big deal for many sharpeners. There is no question, though, that this little brace makes accuracy and consistent pressure easier to achieve. It's simple physics. If the clamp isn't flexing and the knife isn't twisting and bouncing it's pretty much automatic that accuracy and consistency will improve. OK, obviously I really like this little gadget. And it's delivered quickly for eight bucks! Heckuva deal.

Works. Threads are pretty loose. Can be fixed with teflon tape.
I get that itโs 3D printed, but I wish the tolerances of the threads were a little tighter so that the height didnโt change so easily. I found the height my WPSA needed to be the same angle on both sides, then I wrapped some teflon tape around the threads so the threads donโt advance so easily. Other than that, the 2 Iโve bought have broken at the base of the threads. However, Iโve dropped them probably 30+ times from 3ft so Iโm not surprised. Iโm not particularly easy on them so I canโt complain at all about the durability.

Proper piece of kit
I give this a higher review than the sharpener. Sharpener is kinda rubbish without it. Quite a bit less rubbish with it in place. No issues. Very easy to use. Be mindful, working under the edge, but.. all in all, very good. Make sure you use an inclinometer. This may alter your angle readings.
