Purchased this to replace buying cases of soda at $15 per. A B.I.B syrup is all that we needed with this and it has operated perfectly. You have control over the amount of co2 being dispensed, we like small bubbles but fizzy soda so we experimented, we are at about 4.5:1.5 ratio. Just recently replaced the co2 that came with it with one from target and have had no leaks or issues. Truly a value for the money.

Great way to get fizzy water without wasting plastic. Uses no electricity, the CO2 canister is all you need. Looking at their return policy for used canisters (they pay for the returned spares), it should be a big cost savings over purchasing even 2 liter bottles of seltzer. Quality of the bubbles is similar to decent seltzer I can buy at the store, not as fizzy as the best stuff but acceptable. It’s ideal to use cold water and infuse a few minutes before drinking, since the bubbles don’t keep long half full, or even in a full bottle for more than a day or so.

I have followed every instruction from the manufacturer and various methods from online forums and stuff, and I cannot get any real bubbles with this thing. It looks like it's working, you can see the gas going in, but almost no bubbles when its done. It might very slightly carbonate, but your fresh beverage tastes like a soda that was left out overnight to go flat. Same result with plain water, flavored water, and apple juice. It's telling that when you seal the bottle immediately, when you open it 10 minutes later there is zero "hiss" or fizz. Giant waste of money, I don't know if I can return it because I've been (futilely) trying to use it for a week.

By far my favorite sparkling water maker. I love that I have control over how long I press the charge button and that I can sparkle flavored water.

We haven't bought any fizzy drinks since getting this brilliant machine. I uses the pepsi max syrup from sodastream which I make up before fizzing. I think it holds the fizz better. Lightly fizzed pure orange or pure apple juice is lovely and refreshing. I was surprised how fizzy the drinks are and how long the fizz stays. I used cold filtered water and keep any syrup in the fridge. The bottle that you make the drink in comes with a cap which fits tightly so you can store bottles on their side in the fridge. So far I've keep a bottle of made up pepsi max for 4 days in the fridge and it was that fizzy the the bubbles went up my nose. Best buy every!!

This is the best carbonated beverage machine you can readily buy online. I have tried 3 different versions of the Sodastream and while the results were comparable, the carbonation lasted so much longer in my water in comparison to any Sodastream I tested. Very easy to use and being encouraged to carbonate pretty much any beverage has lead me to trying multiple things like carbonated lemonade. A wonderful surprise! This would also make a great gift to anyone trying to reduce their reliance on soda, as I have found many of the syrup flavours to be comparable (but not quite exact) in taste but a fair amount less sugar per serving. An excellent product.

Works great, stays fizzy for longer than sodastream, very happy with my purchase. Bought two separate smaller 500ml fizz mate bottles which is better for me. update- remember to screw the infuser lid on to the bottle first before attaching to the machine, i forgot this & screwed the bottle on to the fizz infuser which was already attached to the machine which resulted in an explosion. i have seen a few people comment on this before making that same mistake but i forgot so don't forget.
