This filter works great and can hold a lot of dirt before the pressure drops, more than other filters of the same micron rating I have tried. I even used them to the point that I had a layer of sediment laying on the bottom of my filter housing and the filter was pure clay red color but still had very little pressure drop. As with all filters (air, water, furnace, your dryer etc), the more dirt, sand, and silt, dust, pollen in your water or air, the more often you will have to replace the filter. Seems like common sense but a lot of people leave negative reviews expecting a 1 micron filter to last 3 months with dirty well water. This filter has a nominal rating of 75-25 microns. This is the perfect filter for most people on well water that want a whole house filter and gives a good balance of sediment free clean water and replacement times and I haven't had to clean out my faucet and washing machine screens once since using them. If you want additional filtration for drinking and cooking, consider an additional undersink system with a 1-5 micron rating. You'll end up replacing all of the filter less often.

Excellent replacement for filter, allows good water flow and still is filtering better than the ones at the Depot. Way cheaper too for what you get.

Arrived exactly on the date specified. Appears to be working very well but need more time to fully evaluate.

I have been useing these filters for a while now, they work very well. Best part is that they save installing another filter housing for progressive filter sizes. I have reccomended these to several friends.
