As noted by the other reviews, this lock really does smell awful. I mean, I've used porta-potties that didn't smell as bad as this lock!Once you get past that aspect, it's functional as a very light duty "lock". The combination is fixed, cast zinc and plastic construction, the four digits only go from 1-6, and the thin cable can be easily cut. But it's good enough to keep a cover on and at least it's more secure than just a bungee cord. For that, it gets 2 stars -- fair.

If I can leave this is zero Stars I would have first of all this product is Tiny and Beyond thin and junky!!! second of all all the previous reviews are 100% accurate it is full of gasoline odor inside the box and outside the box stinks so so bad the seller should not be allowed on Amazon!!!

Poor quality bike lock, You cannot set the combo. It comes pre set with a tagged number.

Can't tell you how well the lock works because it smells so bad I can't get close enough to it. I'm afraid to touch it, lest the odor get on my hands. It's obviously some petroleum/plastic smell but it shouldn't be that noxious. I received it 2 weeks ago, removed it from the package to off-gas some but it's still nasty. Buy something else.

I ordered this over 11 months ago and I don't think there were any reviews at the time. I put the package aside and took it out last week for an upcoming trip. The smell was beyond terrible so I put it outside to air out. A week later and still disgusting. No way I would put this in my suitcase.
