Connect a gutter downspout directly to your French drain
I used this to connect a gutter downspout directly into my French drain system using a short run of 4-inch expandable drain tubing. Easy to install, and it worked perfectly. The gutter run-off now is piped out to the sidewalk out front.

Does The Job!!!
Pair this Outlet Adapter with "NDS 1230-12 Catch Basin" and with "NDS 1212 Drain Grate" and you have the perfect grade-level drain that fits neatly on a 4" drain pipe. All are very well made, I expect many years of yard-draining happiness!!

Does not fit flow well
The product I received is labeled 1243. However it is not the same product as in the picture on the amazon website for 1243. If you cut along the line on the flow well as directed by NDS in their YouTube Video the item sent to me does not fit. I cut wider to try and make it fit and doesn’t work. Now my flow well is useless. Money and time down the drain
