Worthy of your special Italian Recipes
As a first-generation Italian-American, I have always used excellent quality ingredients when I am preparing a meal. When it comes to whole tomatoes, only San Marzano will do. There are several good quality imported DOP tomatoes. And then there is Mutti. These are the BEST tomatoes that I have ever used. They only come in the small cans six-pack, they are horribly expensive...and worth every penny. That being said, I only use them in specialty dishes where they can be the star. I do not use them in macaroni sauce or other dishes where sauce is only a topper. Use them in your dishes that are special...you will not be disappointed.

Not worth the price. I don't care if these are the only canned tomatoes that Bobby Flay and Giada buy and use. Not worth the price. Find CENTO brand SAN MARZANO canned tomatoes in your market, or ask them to bring them in, and you'll end up having better tasting red sauce, or dishes prepared with canned tomatoes than buying these. Will not be buying again. Outrageous price considering the price, and that CENTO brand AUTHENTIC FROM ITALY San Marzano's are better quality.
