I bought the 43" model to store out of season clothes in my bedroom and it was perfect for the job. It arrived packed well with no damamge and I think it looks even higher quality in person. It only took me about 30 minutes to assemble by myself. The directions are clear enough, but you will have a tricky moment when you have to put the hinges on the lid because of the angle the top needs to be while you place the screws. I solved this by assembling it next to my bed so I could use the mattress to support my arm while I held things in place. Lots of space for whatever you need to store and looks great with a bench cushion on top for extra seating. I'm not sure it would survive long in a high traffic area like a play room because it uses several dowels that might get wobbly with time - but for an adult bedroom or entryway it's perfect.

This storage chest is fantastic! The lift-top design makes it easy to access the large storage compartment, which is perfect for blankets, shoes, or other household items. The two safety hinges are a thoughtful feature that prevent the lid from slamming shut. The white and brown finish looks stylish and fits well in my entryway and living room. It’s sturdy enough to sit on comfortably, so it works as both a bench and a storage solution. Overall, a practical, attractive, and well-built piece that I use daily.

Smaller than expected, however, perfect for little humans. It closes slowly, and the lid stays open, so no worries about it falling on their head. Perfect for toys. Not super sturdy for a grown up to sit on, but cats approve. Color describe

We are using this as a blanket chest for the end of the bed so our dogs can jump up and down off the bed. Easy to assemble and looks great

I just received this toy chest today so I can’t say anything on durability. The chest was easy to assemble which took me about 40 mins by myself. All parts and tools were there. Instructions easy to follow. The parts were not perfect as there were some imperfections in the wood. It looked kinda dirty in spots but not so bad that I would return it. I did buy the white one so other colors may not have that problem. I took the advice of one review and to put the hinges on I just put the chest on its back to screw the hinge it and it was easy. I would say I agree with many of the reviews that the chest has a very flimsy base. It’s odd that it is the thinnest piece of ply wood that you slide into the frame. Mine didn’t even slide in right so it kinda has a little gap on the side but no more than a millimeter so it didn’t bother me too much since no one will ever see it. My kids love the toy chest and are so excited to open and close it. I will say the frame is nice and sturdy just not the base so it seems that it will hold up if the kids sit on it but definitely will break if they sit inside of it. Overall for the price of course the chest is ply wood. It has a cute and simple design and best of all the lid stays open and closes slowly so my kids won’t get hurt. It’s small but fits a lot of toys. So I’m happy with my purchase! Hopefully the toy chest lasts! Update: I bought another chest as I loved my previous one and has lasted so far. Unfortunately it looks like I got a used one. There were screws already in the chest and was stripped. I decided to keep building the chest anyway but when I put the final top piece on I see it was all scratched. Really disappointing for me as it will be difficult to return as I already assembled the chest and is too heavy for me to carry on my own. I feel I definitely got a used one when I ordered a new one. Really upsetting

Such a great chest! Got it to store toddler's soft toys, and was not disappointed! This chest has great capacity, sturdy hinges (no lid falling on little fingers), has a light enough lid that our toddler can open it herself, and was so straightforward to assemble. Excellent purchase! 10/10.

Easy to put together and nice piece of furniture. Using it for a toy chest for children and it's perfect as the hinges work very well to protect little fingers. Very happy with purchase. Would definitely recomment.

The chest is nice and sturdy, good material, well made. It holds more than it looks in the photos. I like the pattern on the top that allows airing the contents in the chest.
