While I'm happy with the product I think it's expensive for what it is. I have bought inulin for many years and I've become familiar with different grades and quality IE: inulin in hot and inulin in cold. The last inulin I bought before this product was 88% fiber but much cheaper, it was very sweet, good for baking or putting in drinks, but I wasn't looking for a sugar substitute and it was too sweet, it still worked as a fiber so I was happy with that and the very low price. This product I can tell is superior to that, not as sweet and at a higher fiber content per 100g but 4 times the price.

This is by far the best type of inulin powder I have used over the past 5 years. The product dissolves easily and has an effective impact on the gut flora. Perfect for keeping hunger at bay and increasing fibre intake.

Don't understand why the bag says it can be used a a 50/50 sugar substitute when this powder has no sweetness in it at all. It's completely flavourless, and it won't work as creamier as sugar does. That said, it's okay since the goal was not to get a sugar substitute but a food integrator. Soluble in water, dissolves well with a stir, not requiring anything special (like a shaker ball).

Ordered 2 of these, 1 of the bags had a tiny cut in it(im guessing from a knife when cutting the bulk boxes open idk), seemed like too much hassle to return when only a tiny amount of powder was lost, hopefully they check these more carefully for cuts or protect them better in bulk boxes so this doesn't happen down the line, the actual powder is fine and is exactly what i expected. Hopefully this is just some random 1 off thing and not a continuous problem.

Doesn't dissolve quite so quickly and easily in water as some other brands I have tried - you tend to get a few tiny lumps in the bottom of the glass which need to be squished with a spoon. No idea why this should be, perhaps not quite so finely ground? That minor thing apart, it's as good as any other brand I've tried, though it does seem to be on the expensive side compared to some others weight for weight. A very convenient and easy way to add extra fibre to your diet.
