This is on the smaller side but it is the perfect size for what I need. I have a abandoned baby chicken that have to keep on the house until it's a little bigger, and this cage is perfect. When it's bigger I will put the chicken outside with the rest but for now this is perfect. Very easy to clean . Great place for the water and food . Easy to put together. At night I will put the baby chicken in a cardboard box in a dark place to sleep and during the day I put her on this cage. She loves to be in the room with people so I carry this cage from room to room so she's not alone and in a safe place.

Perfect for our little finch! He’s a happy guy in there and thank goodness this thing is cat proof! Twice our kitties tried to take out the little guy but even after knocking it to the ground the door stayed shut and he stayed safe. Trying to stay on top of them better!

I had high hopes for this birdcage, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. When the cage arrived, the plastic base was visibly warped and misshapen, which immediately raised concerns about quality control. In addition to the warping, the base was scuffed and dusty/dirty, which is unacceptable for an item sold as brand new. This made it feel as though the product had either been poorly stored, mishandled, or inadequately inspected before being shipped. While the cage is still technically usable, it is not up to the standard I expected based on the product description and images. The warped base affects how the cage sits and looks, and it takes away from both the appearance and the overall value of the product. For something intended to house a bird, quality and proper manufacturing are especially important. What added to the frustration was the lack of a reasonable resolution. Customer service was not able to offer a replacement, exchange, or partial refund, which was disappointing given that the issue appears to be a manufacturing defect, not user damage. I was left feeling like my concerns were acknowledged but not meaningfully addressed. In short, this product may work in a basic sense, but the condition it arrived in does not reflect new-item quality, and the post-purchase support did not meet expectations. I hope the seller improves quality control and provides better solutions for customers who receive defective items in the future.

great for 3 hr transport car /one parakeet

Perfect for baby birds, I found one and this bird cage works perfectly for him, until he is ready to fly. Easy to assemble and to clean it.

Was perfect size to transport 4 zebra finches during an 11 hour drive. Sort of flimsy on its own but I added a corner wood perch on one side of the cage and in the other side one of their smaller cage branches. I had a short Amazon box just a little bigger than the cages foot print and cut vent holes. And tied the box flaps to the cage so the box would keep in their seed mess but allow lots of air flow. Added 2 sprigs of millet, seed in one of the provided feeders and water with a wadded up paper towel to keep the water from sloshing about. Worked perfectly! They chatted and sung throughout the drive and were very content. They stayed the night in this small cage as I needed to assemble their new cage the following day. All in all, they were in this cage for around 36 hours with no issues. I would. It recommend for long term finch housing, but for short term travel or emergency quarantine, it works great!

Very small door. Poor design. Compared to their cages from 10-15 years ago, the plastic is much thinner and cheaper. The wire is very thin. This cage turned out smaller than I expected. The bottom of the one I received was curved / bowed upwards, making it hard to slide the tray in and out. The feed cups fit loosely in their slots and are not securely fastened to the cage. The bottom grate is plastic instead of wire. The doors fasten by a bump on the wire so that you have to forcefully bend the cage to open or close them. It requires two hands. There is no way to fasten the door open, so I used a twist tie. It worked for transporting my new feathered family member home, but I would not recommend it. Makes me hesitant to buy any of Prevue Pets other cages. Full price $29 was WAY too expensive for what you get.

I bought this for recovering birds who have hit the window. It’s large enough and sturdy. It’s also great for keeping clean. Luckily no bird has needed it yet.

Easy to assemble, perfect for travel and trips to the vet! Please note this cage is too small for any breed of birds to live in every day.
