Perfect size and weight for camping or hiking. Bought two and tested one out in the backyard at home. Used it to cut down a small tree roughly 5 inches thick, went through it like butter.

This affordable rope saw worked great! The picture shows the stump of a 4 inch diameter limb 30 feet off the ground behind our basketball goal. I'm in my 70's, and it still only took about 5 minutes to cut the limb, even being careful not to be crushed by the 100 pound thing falling. A commercial contractor would probably have cost $500, compared to a lot less than that for this thing. Getting the rope over the limb in the first place, and then cutting the limb up and hauling it off were harder than actually cutting it.

It's a Lil difficult to start bit once u get a rhythm it's really gets the job done. Great for camping
