I’ve been using BRITA MAXTRA PRO filters for a long time and have always been very pleased with them. They fit perfectly, are easy to install, and consistently produce fresh, great-tasting water. I use the filtered water every day for drinking and cooking, and I’ve found the quality to be excellent. The filters are reliable and last as expected. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an effective and dependable water filter.

For anybody thinking about a water filter dispenser, please consider this. With all the recent hooharr surrounding water quality revelations, this could set you're mind at ease. Having bought one jug and six filter set in Tesco, following the simple instructions to fit and assemble the components, all that remains is to fill the jug and bung it in the fridge door. The filter itself, removes limescale,pesticides, metals and other potential nasties from your tap water. This 12 filter set should last just under a year, if you buy the 3 or 6 box set over time, this one will save you up to £30. on the further bonus side is that the water poured in a kettle, the tea or coffee tastes much smoother, plus no scale buildup, my new kettle, I've had it a couple of months now, still looks brand new with non of that horrible grey junk sticking to the insides. On top of the jug is an indicator showing the duration of the filter, you renew but pressing the reset button on the jug with each filter you put in. The water itself tastes quite different, it lacks, what I can only describe as tart, what tap water actually tastes like, this almost tastes sweet. Also used to boil pasta, make home made bread, any rice dish, could make the food you prepare daily more palatable. Only Evian or Perrier could outmatch this, but if you have a car to put all that in, and a massive wallet, in the long run will save you money and you're arms from carrying all those bottles.

Tried some ‘copies’ for a few months but came straight back to the genuine ones. More expensive but they filter properly and the water tastes great! Highly recommended

The cartridges are easy to insert and last as advertised, and having a 12-pack is great for keeping my filters topped up without worrying about running out. The only minor downside is the cost of replacement cartridges, but for the improved taste and peace of mind, it’s worth it. Overall, it’s made a real difference in my daily water and tea — I can actually enjoy tap water straight from the jug now.
