The opening reminds me of Rapture by Victoria's Secret, then Rush by Victoria Secret with a hint if Versace Dylan purple and Dior Poison. There is an underlying powdery floral that blends perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised by this perfume because I thought the powder would be too much but it is not and much needed. I can't wait to see how it matures and changes. It is addictive already and I just did the 10 sprays to introduce some oxygen to start the process. Awesome buy and will keep this in stock. It lasts a long time and is unisex to me. I usually wear masculine scents or layer them in with other perfumes. This is fine on its own. Noticeable but not cloying or irritating.

Lattafa Emaan Eau de Parfum Spray for Unisex, is a FANTASTIC blind buy if you love bold and forward scents that doesn’t smell like your run of the mill dept store toilettes and colognes. For those wondering and hesitant, this is as unisex as TF Black Orchid (to which this is referential). The citrus opening is a VERY short refrain that immediately ushers in a heady heart redolent of white florals. So if you would prefer the bright burst of citrus to announce your scent, this isn’t it. The tuberose notes are rich and forward but lightly swathed in a warm and almost humid quality. Like how overripe fruits on the verge of going bad becomes an intoxicating and boozy version of their former selves. The heart lasts much longer and is buoyed by the sprightliness of currants that lingers longer than the bergamot opening. As it settles, the vanilla coaxes out the warmth without the cloying sweetness of pastries or cheap candles which is so often the turn off for men vs vanilla scents. The cedar wood is not prominent for/on me but there is/are distinct grounding note(s) that anchor the scent. It’s not an obvious grounding effect like so many base notes do. Like “aaaaaand, here’s the leather and patchouli. The end.” As it wears for the enduring hours, the white florals and musk marry, settle, and take on a lovely skin like quality that is reminiscent of an opulent party that opened to a bold din and resplendent chaos and settled into quietly intense and intimate whispers among the remaining few. Excellent projection, longevity and sillage. Superb value for the price. It’s a great blind buy if you or the recipient’s fragrance profile leans gender neutral (though this scent would be decidedly considered more conventionally feminine), confident, and bold. Packaging is lovely for gifting I guess, I personally don’t display fragrance flacons in its retail box so I would def prefer a simpler box that I just just toss, doesn’t take up a lot of space should I decide to keep it or make me feel slightly guilty about wastage.

So I've had to come back here and rewrite my original review as I've changed my mind. At first I didn't really care for the scent. It's not that I didn't like it I just wasn't wowed. Now I like it so much more. It's pretty good.

Ein richtig toller Duft. Am Anfang bisschen frisch und fruchtig, aber danach wird der richtig cremig-blumig. Jasmin und Vanille kommen mega nice raus. Wirkt so frisch geduscht, gepflegt und trotzdem süß. Hält bei mir auch echt gut und auf Klamotten riecht man den gefühlt ewig. Ist perfekt für Alltag, Schule oder Arbeit, weil der einfach easy zu tragen ist und fast nie nervt. Versand war auch blitzschnell. Bin sehr zufrieden!

Initial impression, I wasn’t thrilled. It was a kind but guided by online reviews and fragrantica. I got excited when they said fresh florals with vanilla and the dry down description. I didn’t get any sweet vanilla. I just got fresh florals. It’s a 6.5-7/10 for me. The bottle is super gorgeous though, can’t say about the box, the design with the bottles name fell down when I opened it. 8 sprayed it once on the back of my hand, it wasn’t too strong which is a relief, I don’t want a super concentrated fragrance that’s mid on my skin. But it can be worn as an everyday fragrance, but don’t spray too much. General feeling on this, it smells like when you just soaked yourself in a tub of florals and you came out smelling like a pleasant garden.
