time to replace my ancient USB hub under the computer desk. I like my hubs all-metal and an external power pack. USB-3, and I tested it, speed is good. It sits out of sight under the desk now, out of sight and out of mind, doing its thing. I'm quite satisfied with its performance. Definitely needed a lot of USB ports, and this has a couple more than I needed

Great add-on to the PC. Easy to mout on the wall with arm distance adjacent to the table, and can access and add or remove USB cords easily.

after a couple months some of the ports died, after a year the whole thing is non functional.

OK, the case seems nice, the cables and power transformer were included, etc. I bought this as I had issues recently with USB total power on my computer. I've had it happen before, it is usually when you try and overdraw your motherboard, etc... so simple, you just add a little more power. Well, I'm using it, and my mouse and keyboard intermittently quit working. My usb monitor adapter seems to be working, but another USB switch I plugged in didn't. I tried to save some money with this purchase, and now will probably end up using it as a phone charger :( I'm buying a Startech product that I've had luck with before. I'm sorry I bought this, so only 2 stars. My guess is that they just underpower it a bit with total power (there is still a limit depending on each device, right?) ... so I just need one with better power performance. The theory works well.

Attaches via screws or adhesive stays powered throughout operations and works as advertised! When working with added and similar peripherals that require constant connection this is a godsend...

Excellent mounting options (side screwholes for self-tapping screws into anything you like), excellent choice of USB port orientation (side, so things don't render adjacent ports unusable), and great number of ports. Ribbed enclosure with a mind to cooling, which is encouraging. Now, after the hub looses power, I sometimes find it unresponsive. My solution has been to disconnect it entirely, wait thirty seconds, connect it back to power, and then connect it back to USB. Given the rarity of this defect (unplugging my surge protector, or a power outage), I am prepared to yield it four stars, subtracting only one on account of this defect. Great device, good design!

Needed my cables to be organized And to have minimal wires going to My Pc. I love it. Very happy. Quality Is great.

This usb hub delivers on what it advertises. It is solidly built, simple to connect and provides ample power to up to 10 usb devices. I haven't had any problems using it with a usb switch to go between two different computers, it always reconnects quickly and without glitches when changing over. My only complaint is that the LEDs are excessively bright. I realize that this may be a selling point for those who want their gaming setup to glow with a otherworldly aura, but my desk is set up in my bedroom and this thing literally lights it up at night. I am one of those people who needs darkness to sleep well and this is like sleeping in a nightclub (without the music, of course). I end up having to either unplug it or cover it with a heavy cloth at night to prevent my whole room from glowing blue. If you like police-car-level bright blue LEDs, then this one is for you. If not, you may want to look for something else.
