Pelican 8 Quart Personal Lunch Box Coolers

My husband loves this lunch box cooler. He's a truck driver in Texas and he puts the cooler in his passenger seat within reaching distance. Perfect for his bottled water and sodas . They stay cold all day with a reusable ice pack between the drinks and ice pack in the lid that was included.

This is a great lunchbox cooler. It's large enough to put a large ice pack and 3 drinks, and it still has space to put a couple of snacks on the top in the organizer that comes with the lunchbox. But not too large to take up a lot of space where you will like to store it. One of the best features of this lunchbox is a ice pack that is included. It keeps my food and drinks cold all day. I definitely recommend this lunchbox if you're looking for a high quality one.

Very satisfied with my purchase. I have not tested the ice melting speed but this cooler can’t be beat for being rugged and very well built-having the full length tray for your food up top and beverages below and having a storage compartment that fits your phone on the very top. I use this cooler for work and I work construction. I don’t drink soda, but it will fit 4 16 fluid ounce water bottles on the bottom laying down. In my opinion, this cooler cannot be beat in quality at this price point. The compartment up top for your phone and belongings is a little difficult to open, not really a concern of mine because I put my phone in the beginning of the day in there and don’t take it out till the end of the day,but the latch system for the cooler itself is very easy to use. I have not used ice cubes in this cooler. I’ve used those thin ice packs for injuries and they work just fine for keeping my water cool throughout the day . In the future, I will be looking at the pelican brand for my cooler needs

I thought about buying this cooler for a long time before I jumped. It is very high-quality, but the size is a little bit too narrow in the width. It cannot fit a 16 ounce can laying down side to side and a square Tupperware container holding a sandwich will not fit as well. Otherwise it’s pretty good. One nice feature is the compartment on the top that can hold a cell phone. Hey pelican, make it wider.

Great cooler. Keeps my lunch cold all day even in this 100 degree weather.

This is a pretty ruggedly made cooler and I can see it lasting many years even with some pretty rough treatment. Ice in it seems to melt much quicker than I expected. If it's in a hot car, it will melt in a few hours. In an air-conditioned building it would probably last the better part of a day.

8qt version. Perfect lunch box. Will stay cold for two solid days with the built in cold slab and a couple of slim ice gel packs. Perfect size for fitting into a work duffel bag, solid as a rock, will last decades. Best lunch box I’ve ever had. Good volume inside even with extra cold packs. Perfect for enough food for a 12+hour work shift.

It is a money value product , good quality as expected.

Pelican have a reputation for building robust, functional products and this cooler is no exception. It's price reflects it's build quality and I was very happy when I unboxed it.

Great but pricey. Its a pelican, you get what you pay for.
