I absolutely love these art dice. They’re such a fun and versatile creative tool and can be used in so many ways—at a party, for a group art project, in a classroom, or anytime you’re dealing with creative block. The variety of dice is fantastic, covering things like subject, mood, and media. I really like that you can customize how you use them: roll all nine dice, use just a few, or swap some in and out depending on how much structure or freedom you want. It makes the experience feel fresh every time. These are well worth the purchase, and I enjoyed them so much that I also gave a set as a gift to an artsy family member. They were a big hit. The dice (die?) are great when you want to be spontaneous and step out of your comfort zone. How do you draw abstract angry flowers in pen and ink? The quality is great - the dice are larger than normal dice and made of wood. They are solid and roll nice because of the rounded corners. If you’re an artist that’s been doing this awhile, I recommend it. You need to be familiar with different styles of art (not just Google them) to use these, so I don’t recommend them for newbies.

The dice really get my writing going, I don't have to come up with the principles for new stories. If you love to write but struggle getting started this is a great tool to get your creativity going

Got this for my struggling artist daughter for Christmas. She loved the Art Dice! Artist block over. She FaceTimed me and we rolled the dice hung up, painted, created then called back to share. Amazingly fun and really encourages your artistic side that is in hiding. Love the Art Dice.

These little art dice really said, “oh you like control? that’s cute.” 🎲✨ They’re such a fun way to shake you out of your comfort zone—suddenly you’re mixing mediums or trying styles you’d normally scroll right past. I don’t take every roll super literally, but that’s kind of the point. It’s more of a brainstorming jumpstart than a strict rulebook. When I’m stuck staring at a blank page, these actually work. They get ideas flowing, break creative blocks, and take the pressure off trying to come up with something “perfect.” If you’re in a creative rut or just need a little push, this is a surprisingly effective (and fun) tool to get the ball rolling.

I love these for my art class. I use them for my AP art class for minds on bell prompts. We pick three each week and they work on that combination of prompts. They are great for jump starting creative thoughts and trying new styles and materials.
