Initial review; I have been using this case for a few days now and it feels secure on my phone. The edges of the case are raised past the screen for extra protection and the corners are thicker for protection. The only thing I don't understand is the big uncovered section on top. Was it for a headphone jack because there is no on the pixel 7a so it just looks a little strange. I will come back and rate 5 stars in a year if my phone is still unscathed. UPDATE AFTER 1 YEAR & 7 MONTHS As of September 2025 phone screen is still unscathed 😍 There is significant discoloration (yellow) with the gray case though.

I tried 8 different phone cases for my new Google Pixel 7a, including the one straight from Google, which by the way was the worst of the 8. Most were slippery and/or bulky. This one is amazing. The gel like texture reminds me of the jelly shoes from the 80s lol which is cool. It stays in my hands when I type & if I set it down, it kinda grips the surface. It's super light weight & the color is awesome. I was about to give up, and skip getting a case. Thankfully this one is perfect l.

Just what I was looking for in a replacement case.

So far so good. My daughter loves this case for her Google Pixel 7. It protects her phone well and she can decorate it with her favorite stickers.
