I discovered RecoverORS, adult re-hydration system through an Amazon review last year when I was suffering from continuous dehydration, due to medication for asthma[steroid inhalation system],allergy meds[Zyrtec] and blood pressure meds[Amlodypine and Losartan], as well as osteoarthritis in my left knee and hip, due to injuries and subsequent loss of muscle tone. I've lost nearly 70 lbs since Jan,2012, but had become less active, due to joint, muscle and nerve pain, as well as a proclivity for bouts of diarrhea, due to my largely vegetarian diet. I also experienced bout of night sweats, so to say I was in a state of continuous dehydration, even though I drank 3.5-5 liters of water a day, was an understatement. I decided to try RecoverORS because it was for adults, had much less sugar, many more electrolytes and could be used,"as needed", with no drug interactions listed.I noticed a positive result right away. The muscle cramps were gone, as was the nerve burning and muscle spasms/involuntary contractions. I had stopped taking the asthma and allergy meds and the RecoverORS really helped my body recover from the steroids. My asthma and allergies are completely gone, and have been since June, 2012, but the arthritis remains, as does the blood pressure issue and my largely veggie diet, so I will continue to use RecoverORS. The makers are really responsive. They ship free and instantly, which is a blessing when you run out and need it. They have also sent free product, more than once, when I have ordered in bulk. Boy! I was impressed with this product! I’d go out to mow, come in make one of these drinks, feeling exhausted and dehydrated. This picks me back up half way thru the drink! The drink is light n refreshing. It’s slightly citrusy . I was looking for something exactly like this. No sugary over bearing fruity flavored drink. My concern is hydration and fast. I just couldn’t be happier with this product. Slightly pricey. But it does work effectively n efficiently. I will order this again!! I love it! R m from pa.

Great product. Tastes like gatorade, mixes easily, uses organic ingredients, just a tad expensive considering it was about $10 and you only get 5 per box, so that's $2 each. Pedialyte may be cheaper, even though I know it probably uses non-organic sweeteners. Would buy in bulk if price was more reasonable per pack.

Okay, I'll be real honest. These are primarily for hangovers. And they work wonderfully! I will say that I have also used them for feeling a bit "under the weather" as well, and as a result, here I am ordering more! They are cheaper, easier to transport, and work better than pedia-lyte... and I think it tastes better! I really enjoy not haveing to feel like an infant when I'm just trying to get rid of my headache. I see lots of these in my future, so glad to have a wonderful little helper in my pocket when I'm over-indulging just a bit!

Can't say enough good things about this product. My husband and I initially bought it for our Grand Canyon one-day rim-to-rim hike. It was 107*F that day. We covered 21 miles in around 12 hours. We threw one ORS pack in each time we filled up our 3-liter Camelbacks and sipped on them throughout the day. We definitely felt the best out of our group. (A couple guys used the Gatorade powder and one girl didn't use any electrolytes.) I would never go without again for an endurance adventure like that. Also tried using one after waking up with a particularly nasty hangover. Chugged a big glass of water with an ORS pack, took an hour nap, and was pretty close to normal when I woke up. Worked better than an other hangover cure I've tried. Taste is not bad and not great, but who cares with the stellar results.

I've tried a bunch of different rehydrate powders and quite a few of them work well but this one doesn't. I poured the powder into 16 oz of cold water and shook it up. it was completely invisible and unflavored and my drinking experience was the same as normal water. I've waited 3 hours now and I feel exactly the same way as I would have if I had just drank plain water. And I did drink plenty of water.

I was a little hesitant to try these at first as they were a bit pricier than the other available options, but was glad that I did. When travelling, it may be difficult to travel with enough fluids. You can also get distracted with your travel itinerary and forget about drinking enough fluids. Or, especially if travelling internationally, public restrooms may be few and far between or not easy to locate, so you may cut back on your liquid intake. None of these are ideal and cause dehydration - making you feel groggy, or causing other issues if you are prone to them (migraines, kidneystones, etc), or have medical issues (diabetes, etc). Dehydration can also exacerbate jet lag. These were perfect for travel. Tear off the top and pour into a water bottle. Pack easily and no mess - even if you accidently tear/puncture the powder packet, it's clear - so no cakey orange mess to brush out/no stains. The taste was pleasant, but not sickeningly sweet like some of these products tend to be. I used to prevent dehydration during travel when water or rest stops were inconvenient and these worked wonderfully for this purpose. I will definitely be purchasing again!

I originally bought RecoverORS when traveling abroad to keep me hydrated in the plane. If you keep hydrated your jet lag will be less. It has a great lemon taste when mixed with water. Make sure to mix it correctly otherwise the taste will be too strong. I made that mistake once but quickly added more water. During Easter weekend I was dehydrated because I did not drink much water. I bought some Gatorade thinking it would fix my dehydration problem but didn't. I then remembered I had some RecoverOrs left from my trip and mixed it with water. Within 15 minutes I started to feel better and quickly ordered more. I really recommend this product to everyone.

This product arrived promptly, the taste was very acceptable for this type of product, in-fact the best I have experienced. It also performed it's re-hydration duties very well. Overall I would say that I will continue to purchase this product (I have already had a second order) very satisfied!

Unbelievable, but this stuff really makes a very noticeable difference in my "mornings after". Doesn't clear it up 100% ( if it did these guys would be instant multi millionaires lol) but I'd guess it clears up symptoms by perhaps 70% for me.

This stuff is good ! It’s jsut too expensive! At just over £2 a sachet -on drink ! They don’t last long.
