My biggest take away was: Personality will open doors, but character will keep them open. Simple & straight forward truths presented here, yet very profound & Myles Munroe takes the time to show you why Character is important . Most of the examples are different yet the concepts are the same: so in a essence the book is a bit repetitive, but I guess that's necessary to drive home the points been made. Still a good read.

An excellent addition to Dr. Myles Munroe's biblically based study materials on leadership and character . As always, Myles has used his gifts to help us better understand God's Word. I'm so thankful for the privilege of having been exposed to his talents and gifts. I've been buying Myles Munroe's book since the mid to early 90's when I first became aware of him. He's been so consistent and stable in his work and I've learned alot. He has inspired me to get my Bachelor and Masters Degree in social work. My specialty is working with famlies and children. More recently, Myles has inspired me to start my own business. Although, I wanted more of him here in the physical world God knows best. Myles said," its not the person that draws people but his gifts". I had the pleasure of meeting Myles in 2002 at a church in my home town. I bought,The power of Prayer, an awesome book and got his autogragh. Yeah! Myles has left us with plenty of his gifts to carry on the vision. Myles is my mentor a true example of what we can do when we discover our TRUE self in the Kingdom of God. You are missed! May God bless us! continue to Provide us the HOW as we continue to strive towards the our purpose in the Kingdom of God. Amen.

I LOVE all of Myles' books. It was a sad day for me when I heard of his accident and passing away. His books have completely changed my life. This book is an excellent as well. I own my own business with 14 employees and it helped me focus on why I do things like I try to do every day as a leader. I have a passion for my work and have been blessed with many skills from God. This book discusses how other leaders have failed and why and how YOU can become the leader God made you to be whether it is at work, in your family or with your friends.

As a graduate student working on an MBA with a concentration in Organizational Leadership and a Christian I wanted additional information. We each passing day, our so-called business and particular our political leaders are failing the people because they have zero integrity and moral values. I want to be better that!!!

Myles Munroe is someone who is respected by one of my mentors/spiritual fathers, Apostle Joshua Selman, and so automatically I was drawn to his teaching. He writes in this book about a missing element in most leadership programs and ultimately in most renowned leaders around the world - character. It is thought provoking and is based on biblical principles of building character. I have only started reading, but as I engage and digest all that's in it, I am sure it would help me work on my character development.

I wish I knew the principles presented in this book earlier. Dr. Myles MUNROE was really a genius 👌
