Liked it a lot - bought 3 more
I purchased this incline foam support to elevate my mattress as mentioned in a Dr Mercola article and inclinedbedtherapy.com to see if it helps with a variety of things. I purchased the king size. I liked it so much that I recommended it to my mother, mother-in-law and brother-in-law. Each purchased one (total of 2 queens and 1 full). They all arrived quicker than anticipated and in great shape. The packing is great to unroll and you need to let it sit out to get into shape. I let them sit out 4 or 5 hours. They have no odor which I appreciate. I find this is a great solution to raising the head of the bed without having to put blocks or whatever under the bed and it does not put strain on my king size metal bed frame. It has a 6” difference between head and foot. This mattress has helped with my husband’s plantar fasciitis and circulation in my feet. You may need to give it time to adjust or see some results. After a week of sleeping on the inclined mattress, I noticed I wasn’t getting up at 3am to go to the bathroom. In the short time they have used this product, it has helped with my mother-in-law’s acid reflux, and has helped my brother-in-law fall asleep faster at night. The “negatives”? It changes the look of the bed if you are picky about that sort of thing. When I see the inclined mattress - it actually makes me look forward to going to bed! Also, my mother-in-law, who is 82 and petite, mentioned that it is more difficult to get in bed with the additional inches/height. This may not be a problem if one has a lower bed frame, thinner mattress or just uses something safe to step on. Also, we experienced a little overhang of product at the end of the bed but a fitted mattress hides it. I would highly recommend this product and find that it is a great solution at a reasonable price for inclining my bed.

It is very stiff and hard. One inch latex topper and
Have slept on this now for about 2 months. I have history of serious GERD diagnosis, take Rx proton inhibitor morning and night and pepcid. Have had precancer removed from throat. Was using a triangle pillow to elevate head at night, but still having 1/2 episodes a month of wake out of dead sleep burning GERD.Primary Care suggested this full length topper instead. Can honestly say I have had zero episodes of GERD. Still eat dinner early, watch lots of fried foods but this has been amazing. There was a learning curve. It is very stiff and hard. So spent the money and got one inch single bed latex topper and single bed quilted mattress cover. Did the trick. Now the sacrifice. We sleep in King bed. My head is now 7 inches higher than spouse, feet are even. Took her a while to get used to feeling like she was sleeping in a hole next to me.No question this product has significantly improved my GERD situation.

Great For Acid Reflux If You Don't Mind The 7" Slope
We bought this as our GI doctor recommended raising the head-end of our bed to reduce nightly acid reflux attacks. It works fine for that purpose and is truly a God-send in that regard. My only complaint is that while the slope is barely noticeable when first lying down, I find when I wake up in the morning that I have slid down to the bottom of our king-size mattress. I'm 5'11" and weigh 180 pounds, if that matters. I toss and turn a bit at night and each toss or turn also results in a slight downward slide. It's not much but it adds up.However, on balance, I'm willing to accept that in exchange for the benefit of no acid reflux attacks since installing it.(Note: I'd like to have tried the 5" model but shipping this back on an exchange is near impossible given it's gigantic size and no manageable way to re-compress it for shipping. )

Cheaper than an adjustable bed, better than a wedge pillow
Trying to resolve positional sleep apnea and GERD. One of the suggested things to do is to raise the head of your bed. This seemed like a better solution as well as a chance to give some idea of what an adjustable bed would be like. I've tried wedge pillows in the past but it just doesn't seem as helpful to have just your upper body elevated. You don't really notice the incline using this option other than getting into bed. Seems to be helping - very glad I bought this.

DO NOT BUY NO FULL REFUNDS 20% RESTOCKING FEE
These are bulky, hard as a rock, and the company’s customer service is horrible. When I attempted a return I was told by the company to “Wrap a rope around them and pay for return and 20% restocking fee.” They arrived vacuumed sealed, so they won’t go bank in the box. All around a terrible experience.Update; I tried to use the Amazon A to Z for help with a refund. After multiple attempts and threatening to drop Prime, Amazon gave me a gift card and left me with the risers. After 20 yrs with Amazon we no longer buy larger or bulky items from Amazon. We also not buy from 3rd party sellers on Amazon. By the way there is a notice stating most people return these list well below their add page. The refund/return policy is not listed anywhere on the sellers page. Lastly the reviews make this product seem better than it actually is; how can it be “returned frequently” yet have all four star reviews……

SLT
The mattress elevator/wedge did help with my breathing. But I did stop using it eventually because I started to get hip pain from the position changes. But everybody is different so it is a reasonable thing to try if someone needs to elevate their bed. But, I would recommend getting recommendations from a physician and also to be sure about this item before removing it from the box on arrival. Once out of box it will be a horrible (& unsuccessful) experience getting it back in box. And my experience is that I have to wait till a “bulk trash pickup” from City and these only occur twice a year.

Working Well
We've had this for about a month now, and I thought I'd offer up my experience. First, it was really easy to put under my king size mattress, as it came in two pieces. It's about 6.5 inches tall at the head of the bed and about one inch at the foot of the bed. And - I do find myself sliding down a bit overnight. I'm about six feet tall so I already take up the whole length of the bed. I'm a restless sleeper, tossing and turning through the night... in the mornings I often find about 8-10 inches of my legs hanging off the end. I've gotten used to it - it just gives me a chuckle in the mornings. I also didn't think about the extra height making it more challenging to get into bed... my bed/bedframe is high and I have a thick pillowtop mattress. Hubby and I laugh at how much effort it takes to get up there. :-) The bottom line, though, is that we think it's helping with the health issues that prompted our purchase.

Works really well ...a great way to resolve reflux
This foam under mattress wedge puts the whole mattress at a gentle incline and works really well to prevent reflux. It was shipped on time and was easy to set up. There was an issue with the cover not fitting properly and the company was great in arranging a refund promptly so I give them thumbs up for that.Overall very happy with this product ...we have adjusted to the incline no problem...it is a great solution for reflux while still having a good night's sleep. Thank you Avana
