I'm 5'4", 135lbs and will be having a hip replacement in a few weeks. In prep for that, one of the suggestions from the ortho is a raised toilet seat. We have comfort height (17"h) toilets, and the first riser that I bought added 5" to that. Without installing it, I set it on the toilet and tested the height. My feet were swinging off the floor like Edith Ann. The seat itself was also not very comfortable. In addition to being high, the seat was also so large that the actual opening was shrunken by about a third. The molded shape of the seat was also pretty uncomfortable. I returned that one then ordered this one. This one is perfect! - the 3" height is perfect for my height. My 6' husband tested it out too, and said it's comfortable for him too. - the quality of the plastic is nice. The seat that I returned was also plastic, but it felt and looked like an institutional seat. The molded shape was not comfortable and the seat portion was oversized which meant the opening was shrunken to a much smaller hole size. This one is perfect. It looks and feels just like a "normal" toilet seat - - - it's just a bit higher. - installation was super easy even though the instructional drawings leave a lot to be desired. I used the "top mount" method: 1) remove the existing seat 2) push the rubber sleeves into the mounting holes and reach underneath to pull them completely through 3) place the bracket onto the bowl, line up the holes, screw into the rubber sleeves but don't fully tighten yet 4) slip the seat onto the bracket until the chrome buttons click 5) push and align the seat to the bowl, then finish screwing the bracket bolts until it's secure and bolts are completely tightened 6) flip the bracket flaps down to secure the bracket in place

I am a 63 year old woman with spinal stenosis. The toilet I was using was dangerously low with no grab bars or supportive arms. This product gave me 4 inches of added height and it holds up to 610# safely. Being higher up gives me the ability to raise up and remove myself much easier and safer, with my cane or walker nearby. It was easy to install, easy to read instructions and videos too. I paid $71 which is a drop compared to a fall, fracture or worse depending on what was nearby to fall into. Thank you Ccbello!!!

Finally, after trying several other solutions for my needs, one that fits them all. It is simple to install, fits the toilet securely, and—best of all—is simple flips up for cleaning, heavy duty without being heavy to handle, and stain resistant. Couldn’t ask for more. Thankful

I found the CCBello toilet seat to be a lifesaver when I had a broken ankle and foot and spent several months healing. The extra 3 inches of height gave me enough leverage to make it much easier to get up from the toilet without placing too much pressure on my foot and ankle. It was fairly comfortable to sit on even when I was heavier (mid/upper 300s). I've lost a significant amount of weight although currently I'm still fairly heavy. I still use it and continue to like the extra height even though I could probably get up well enough without it at this point, although I haven't tried yet. I initially chose it because it was one of the few tall toilet seats that, aside from the added height, did not have a "medical equipment appearance". It was easy for my husband to install. It fits the toilet very well and securely, no slippage. So why did I give it 4 stars and not 5? About 3 weeks after it was first installed in November 2024, the plastic near one of the hinges developed a hairline crack and about a month later, a similar hairline crack appeared by the hinge on the opposite side. I believe that at the time, when needing to reposition myself, I was often twisting and moving in a way that caused the cracks. My weight at that time was high (as mentioned, mid 300s) but nowhere near the company's claimed load limit of 610 lbs, so my weight should not have made a difference in causing any cracks. Although I probably should have returned it for a replacement, I didn't return it and eventually it was just too late for that. I have continued to use the seat and still really like it! The two cracks have not gotten worse and do not cause any problems at all when I use the seat. Call me crazy, but I actually ordered another one to keep as a spare, in case the cracks do develop further. Just about everything else out there that's similar just isn't what I want.

This fit perfect on my handicapped husband's 17" tall toilet. But measure before you buy, which we did. It seems seamless and is easy to clean. Love the soft close lid. This is a great riser toilet seat.

This 3-inch toilet riser fits our elongated American Standard brand toilet perfectly! We ordered a different brand a frew months ago. It was supposed to be elongated, but was still not long enough, so be sure to measure your toilet. This riser is superior because it fits perfectly, looks sleek and modern, is self-closing, very easy to install and doesn't wobble. It's engineering is different, allowing anyone to easily remove it to clean the porcelain bowl underneath. It snaps on or off by pressing two metal buttons. That's a great feature! Congratulations to the manufacturer for creating this high quality riser for us.

This is a great product. I’m 6’3” and disabled. It’s very easy for me to sit down and get up due to my height. I love it and it’s easy to clean.

To all you senior out there, this is one of the best finds I have made. I was ready to replace all my toilet bowls with higher ones before I found these seat risers. I decided to give it a try in my bathroom first but then my husband wanted one for his bathroom and we are loving them. They are easy to install and very sturdy. This product was a big money saver for me!!!

I just got this toilet seat and it’s cracked. I have sent it back and asked for a replacement as it looks very well constructed. Please check it over when you get it. It was on the underside

Very nice seat only wish it was 1 in higher, I need a knee replacement so this is a great improvement.

After a calf muscle injury I needed a lifted seat. After purchasing several others, THIS ONE was a game changer! It is STUDY, easy to remove when required and definitely not a mickey mouse unit. Bonus is it was easy to install with the hardware included and the lid is a part of the unit! I will be purchasing more of these specific ones, for our upstairs bathroom for our rental cottages and for our own cottage I'm so impressed and thankful :)
