This Amerous cribbage board set looks great right out of the box. The wood has a rich color and smooth finish, and the classic three-track design feels timeless. The magnetic latch works perfectly, keeping everything neatly stored inside, and the included cards and metal pegs give it a nice touch of quality compared to cheaper sets I’ve seen. The only small issue I ran into was that a couple of the pegs were slightly too large for the holes. They’ll need a little sanding to fit properly, which isn’t a big deal but worth mentioning. Once that’s taken care of, the game plays smoothly and feels solid. Overall, it’s a great set for home or travel and looks nice enough to leave out on a coffee table. Would I buy this again? Yes, I would.

Purchased this as a "Santa" gift for my daughter and I. It's more beautiful than expected, the quality and craftsmanship that went into it is definitely exceptional. I honestly wasn't expecting this high of quality, sturdy (without being too heavy) classy looking box. It is definitely built to last a long time. Everything functions flawlessly. The magnets strong and holds closed nicely, hinges are definitely great quality. The storage compartment fits everything perfectly without worrying about anything spilling out when you go to open it. Pegs are exceptionally nice and solid and fit perfectly in the perfectly drilled holes. Love that it comes with two decks of cards, while the cards themselves seem a bit cheap everything else more than makes up for it. We have taken it with us on trips to play in our motel room in the evening without worrying about loosing anything because like I mentioned it's very sturdy and everything has it's spot inside the box. The cribbage board top is easy to use, clearly marked and well painted. I can't say enough about how much we absolutely love this set. If we ever do wear this one out, which doesn't seem like it anytime soon and we play all the time, I would definitely purchase another one.

Very good value for the money. Well built, attractive and the pegs are a nice solid metal. My only critique is the holes are so close the pegs rub together when in adjacent holes and the skunk lines are not indicated on the board.

A nice set for the price - Pros: The all-metal pegs, they feel heavy and substantial! They won't break like plastic pegs might. The wooden board with magnetic closure device is attractive and the magnets close the lid quite firmly and securely. The generous storage area holds 2 decks of cards, I replaced the 'free' decks with jumbo index cards from a well-known playing card company named after a 2-wheel mode of transportation. The replacement decks are a tad larger but can wiggle into the foam cutout spaces provided inside the board's hinged compartment. I found a plastic keeper case to hold the metal pegs when not in use that also fits in the storage area. Cons: One of the peg holes in the racetrack (scoring area) was not drilled well. I had to 'force' the metal peg into the hole. Not a huge deal. Wish they provided a nice plastic holder for the pegs that would be nice. Numbers every 5 holes on the board should be larger (if possible) VERY hard to read with senior eyes! The folks in my 55+ cribbage club admired my new Amerous board! They said it was attractive and were pleasantly impressed by the magnetically-clasped hinged lid with storage for 2 decks of cards and 9 (included) heavy-duty metal pegs.

This was such a great present! I got it for my dad for Christmas and we have been using it for about 2 months now. It’s beautifully made. The pegs are sturdy. Awesome storage for cards and pegs. The magnets are super strong so you don’t have to worry about the storage popping open. Overall, love it. Worth the money.
