Yorwe Anti slip tape (Black)

This is excellent non slip tape, the adhesive is extremely strong and the surface is really rough. I used it on the plastic tray in the bottom of a car dog crate to stop the mattress slipping and it works very well. I've had no problems with it coming unstuck despite the dog being able to get at it if he rucks up the mat and the fact that it gets wet. Generally the mat stays in place well (the system rather breaks down if there is a lot of dust involved as that tends to lubricate things so the mat is more likely to slip). It's easy enough to cut using scissors but it's probably best to remove the backing tape in stages as, although it's not very bendy, you wouldn't want it sticking to itself (as it's so sticky you wouldn't be able to separate it again).

Used in the bath/shower tub combo for under bare foot grip. The grip is excellent. Just right. Not to high or too low for my purpose. Wet n dry it's works and brings peace of mind. The grey colour is nice, prevents noticeable shower stains etc. The adhesion is brilliant. (So far) I don't expect to encounter any issues. (Cleaning the surfaces before application is essential to all self adhesive applications) I tried it in shower and hot bath and it's stayed put. I was able to cut it to size and shape with normal scissors. (Unfortunately there is no grid pattern on the underside to aid this) The grip particles remain on the paper as one would expect. So it doesn't scratch the bathtub which is a relief. Very good tape overall. Unsure about its longevity but I have enough on 5m roll for two of the same projects shown in the image. Definitely recommend.

I have used this product as anti slip strips on the wooden steps 92 sets of steps) of my decking. As can be seen from the photo i also used roof nails in addition to the adhesive. So far the strips have been very effective and certainly do not allow slipping.

Last summer I needed to build a ramp into the rear garden for my disabled father-in-law. After construction and painting, I carefully measured 5 equal strips and placed them on. It finished the job perfectly. They provided a real anti-slip tread and looked great. A few weeks later I had to remove them in order to reseal the ramp. Although very tacky, they removed easily and I re-used them. They are still going strong since then, despite all the rain. Definitely recommend this product.

Bought to stick to a UPVC door step that my dog kept slipping on when wet. Cleaned the step down with IPA, measured and cut tape to length and then stuck down being careful to stay in straight lines. pressed down well and left in the sun before trying to test adhesion. well stuck down at the time and has survived 1 winter and a wet summer with no change in appearance. It has solved the slippery step problem and looks like it was always there.

Perhaps this is better for indoor applications online. But for sure not suitable for externals e.g. decking. The adhesive is not very sticky and comes right off. Personally would not recommend.

I purchased this tape for edging on my exhibition stands. It is great for edging the stand to the carpet. It is very strong and offers anti-slip protection. Being a tape, it is very easy to use and great value for money.

Durable, effective, now almost 18 months on from the purchase. We haven't even needed to clean the tape strips.
