Purchased these to augment the storage in a newly purchased MSI PC from Costco. Been running burn-in tests for over two weeks and not even a hiccup. My only regret was not getting dual 2TB modules instead.

Working perfectly for my RAID 1 NAS.

I have always have bought main stream drives but thought I would give these a try and save some money. I do a lot of software and hardware testing so I have a Dell server with multiple virtual machines on multiple hard drives. I set these up in Raid 1 and have had no issues. It's been months sense I set these up but so far so good.

as advertised. running on a linux pc with no problems. 500MB/s read spead. non sequential. time will tell its reliability. when i do more tests i'll update my review.

I decided to give Gigastone a try, one of the two pack failed within 48 hours. I reached out to their support email as instructed on their website and it's been crickets for over a week. I was not super upset that I got a bad drive, sometimes bad drives make it out of the factory... but the radio silence on the attempt to RMA this drive is more than enough for me to never try anything from Gigastone again, and to recommend that no one else considers their products. Stick to a main brand. I replaced both of these with Kingston drives that were $10 less than Gigastone.

I recently purchased a QNAP TVS-H874X-i9-64G-US NAS unit with two NVMe M.2 internal slots and eight 3.5" or 2.5" external hot-swap bays. The two internal M.3 NVMe bays each have a 2TB SK Hynix Platinum P41 SSD in them and work fine in a boot-up RAID1 storage pool. However loading in all eight of the Gigastone Enterprise Grade SATA SSD 4TB drives results in an errror when attempting to create a second storage pool, none of the Gigastone drives are selectable due to an error message like, "the disk shares an identical WWN with another installed disk. When I check the QNAP storage tool to review each disk, all eight of the Gigastone Sata SSD drives have a unique serial number but have the same WWN number which equals, FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. No where on the outside label of the Gigastone Sata SSD does it show the unique serial number or a SSN of any kind. Just a Bar code and what I suspect is a model number. The Amazon description states that these are intended for enterprise storage use. Since this QNAP TVS-H874X-i9-64G-US is a personal or Small Business model, I would expect these Gigastone drives to work quick nicely. This appears to be something easily remediated with a firmware fix. I hope Gigastone catches this review and can help me. I spent extra money to go all SSD for better performance and lower acoustics. I would hate to have to purchase traditional magnetic disks like the Ironwolf Pro due to their lower speed performance and louder background noise around my media center. (3rd attachment is from the QNAP enclosure_0.conf file which shows the details of the installed drives. Clearly showing the issue from one of the Gigastone Enterprise SATA SSD drives installed in bay #3 (the two nVME take slot #1 and #2; ssd hotswap external bays 1 - 8 take up bay system slots #3 - #10). The drive had acceptable performance but I was sent a used device as an replacement instead of a new device in a box for an issue I had.

I set these up as a mirrored pair in a ZFS pool. After 6 months one of the drives is experiencing read/write errors. Trying to make a warranty claim but Amazon have referred me to Gigastone who are not replying to emails. So 3 stars as the other drive is working and I might just be unlucky. Will update when/if Gigastone reply. UPDATE: Gigastone replied and rightly asked for more diagnostics. This prompted me to change the USB SATA adapter and now the drive is working fine. So back to 5 stars as these drives seem to be doing a good job. So the lesson is if you think these are faulty then check on different hardware.

I dischi GIGASTONE sono OTTIMI per la velocità. Resistenza e affidabilità dei dati, ma sono purtroppo incompatibili con la politica restrittiva del sistema operativo SYNOLOGY. È UN VERO PECCATO.

Presi per creare un disco raid shr hanno una buona velocità in scrittura e ottima in lettura. Per ora tutto bene e non manifestano anomalie

Uno de los dos discos no funciono correctamente, me borro los datos al intentar clonar otro SSD y no deja formatearlo. Mucho cuidado.
