I absolutely love Fluffie Stuffiez!! The concept is very appealing for people who enjoy picking at stuff, and a stuffie is a healthy alternative to pick at rather than, say, skin. However, plucking the stuffie is a one time, short-lived activity (it takes maybe 45 minutes to an hour to fully pluck), so it’s not exactly a cost-effective therapy tool for compulsive pickers. I purchased these when they were majorly on sale, and for that price, they were well worth it. For full price, I probably wouldn’t say it’s worth it for some people since it is so short-lived. Kids ages 1.5, 3, and 12 all enjoyed contributing to the plucking, but it didn’t hold any of their attention spans long enough to fully pluck the rainbow. For me, the adult, however, I loved doing it and found completing the task very satisfying. We spaced it out over the course of 3 days, which I’d recommend to get more out of the activity and prevent getting bored or frustrated with its repetitive nature. It was definitely a messy activity (plenty of fluff ended up all over the floor despite attempts to contain it in a box) but worth it and very easily vacuumed up. As a bonus, the bright, soft leftover fluff can be used as a messy sensory bin base! Now that it’s plucked, it’s an adorable smiling rainbow that my toddler has become hopelessly attached to, a perfect small, super soft sleeping buddy. I would definitely recommend purchasing this, especially if it’s on sale! I plan to buy more.

If you and/or your child just want another fun reveal collectible mystery box viral-on-tik-tok type of toy (which for some reason is what these are being marketed as) this is probably not the toy for you, and you should heed the other reviews. The fluffs that come off these things are a bit staticky, very numerous, and would absolutely make a mess if you just went to town on them. However, if you're autistic, OCD, if you pick at your skin or scratch up your arms or pluck out your hair and you need a few days' break to let it heal, or if you need something to "destructively" constructively stim with to calm your anxiety and get through a stressful conversation or a therapy appointment, this is ABSOLUTELY for you. I've had three of these things, now, and they have changed my life. I scritch at the fuzzier fluffs, letting my fingers wander as they need, and sometimes pulling one or a couple fluffs at a time either through the scratching or because I find one amiss and need to pluck it. It's so satisfying, and it really helps as an anxiety sink. I always keep the pouch with me and since I only pull up a couple of them at a time, and very carefully place them where they belong in said pouch, they don't make a mess. It also soothes my OCD to be able to carefully put each one in the pouch. I wish I'd had these when I was a kid. I can't afford a constant supply of them, but when I can get one, it lasts me up to a week. The little unearthed stuffies underneath are very soft and cute, though definitely on the cheaper side. I wouldn't get them just for the stuffie, but now that I have a few I'll find some way to upcycle them. It's worth it to have this kind of stim aid. I hope they keep selling them even after they stop being viral.

My daughter just HAD to have this after seeing it on the tv. We caved and bought them knowing they would be a bit messy as you pull the fuzzy out and place into the bag given. It was actually very fun! My husband and me were pulling out the fuzzy bits more than the kids. This is a kids toy but it you know someone with anxiety this would be a perfect random gift as it does somewhat calm you. The kids love carrying these around and telling everyone that they changed their colors. Overall it was fun and random and would make a great gift. Just be ready to vacuum a lot if doing indoors with younger kids. :)

Its cute but I wouldn't recommend. It makes a huge mess

Okay this is the most perfect gift for your worst enemy. The fuzz goes everywhere and is super staticky so hard to keep contained. My nose is itching just writing this review because I just cleaned some up. It's such a tedious process to pick the fuzz off that my kids have decided to spread it out and do a little bit every other day or so and I'm ready to throw them in the trash. Like why can't they just pick out all the fuzz off in one day and have one nightmare..... This stuff would be so perfect if you wanted to cover someone and syrup and then drop this on them. I feel like when my girls finally are done, that is exactly what my husband's going to do to me for buying these.

A cute gift for anyone that has busy hands. I’ve seen adults complain about the mess but it’s pretty easily cleaned with vaccuum. The toy holds up and provides a while of fun for anyone that sits and picks at it continuously so even longer if it’s for someone who will set it down and pick it back up. The price for the size of them is also super good. I bought them for my friends who have sensory issues that cause them to skin pick or pull out hair. Would be great for kids on the spectrum. The fluff can be reused to stuff other stuffed animals and my friends and I have a theory that you might be able to put it back with a needlefelting tool and reuse them. But even if not you get a cute stuffed animal at the end. It’s great for adults and kids. If you have relatives who are kind of jerks that have kids you can use them for silly revenge that costs less than a drum kit but will hold up better than a band of kazoos.

Very fluffy, all the pieces are around the house!

I bought this for my granddaughter for her birthday thinking it would be fun to pull the hair out but it nothing but a mess. The hair didn’t come out easily only came out a little bit at a time and stuck to anything it touched. After quite a while she finally lost patience with it. It was a waste of money.
