Pleasantly Surprised!
I had suspicions of this winder, as the description was just a little bit vague, but there was absolutely nothing else out there that promised to wind my Seiko Premier Kinetic Direct Drive watch. But for $17, I really couldn't lose. Having tried making my own winder using a spare watch-winder pad with a bolt through the middle and connected to a drill and letting it run (it barely worked and was loud), I decided to look for a real solution. So this winder shows up yesterday, and again, my hopes weren't terribly high. I unpacked it, and after browsing the relatively simple assembly instructions, I had it up and running in about 10 minutes (the upright arms go in a certain way). I checked it periodically and saw that yes indeed, it was winding the watch! After about 6-7 hours, it had a FULL MONTH'S charge! I'd had to have worn it for weeks to get that level of charge previously, and there was no way a simple winding of the crown would ever get it there. For such a nice watch, winding it sure is a major PITA, but this winder made it simple, quiet, easy and effective. It's not huge so will fit anywhere. It only takes a USB charger for power. It's mesmerizing to watch and even though it looks mostly 3D printed, it does the job it advertises very well.

This thing is awesome for kinetic watches but read the instructions
This thing works great for a Seiko Coutura with a Kinetic movement I recently came to possess. This technology has been sort of phased out in favor of solar watches. I guess normal watch winders won't charge them up, before discovering this someone had said the only way to get it fully charged was to wear it for 6 weeks. It's also pretty quiet, its rhythmic sound is pretty much just coming from the sound of the rotor wheel inside of my watch. I could easily fall asleep with this right next to my head. The instructions are difficult to get through, because they're basically a wall of text in 4 different languages but they're important. Here are some things I had trouble with: 1: the machine has the capacity for 2 watches but one side has a weight pre-installed. If you haven't added your watch, the weight will make the pendulum off balance during testing. The weight just sort of blends in but it's obvious which side it's on if you're paying attention. 2: put the arms that hold the pendulum in so that the distance between the cradle is the shortest. That's going to be with the long tabs facing out. 3: The machine has a timer, if you press the button 1 it turns on, 2x you just set it for an hour, you can do up to 12 presses to get it to a 12 hour time limit. Mine seems to stop after a few hours after just doing the 1x button, so it might be that there is a default time built in, I'm not quite sure, but regardless it has sufficiently recharged my Seiko to showing more than 1 month in reserve.

Its Cheap, Flimsy, but it works.
It works for my seiko kinetic. It is finally fully charged. I don't wear mine often enough to ever get it charged completely. The only thing that came close to charging my watch was the charging base for a very old sonic care toothbrush and that takes some experiment in positioning I tried a regular winder, took a shot some people had success, not me, no good. Mine had no instructions, so it took some figuring. My watch had sat for years so the old battery would not hold past 33%, upgraded it, then it got to 66% never could get to 100% till now. The pros it works on kinetics it has a timer no motor Cons A lot of plastic, timer set up is not intuitive. would have liked a non scratch surface on the watch holder band part. Maybe I will try electrical tape. My band is a black plated one. no instructions

Saved my kinetics
I have 2 Seiko kinetic watches. Both lost their battery power as I don't wear them daily. When I attempted to charge the first by hand/wearing it, I noticed it would not hold a charge. I assumed it was that the battery was too old and I replaced it (as seen on youtube) and it worked great. The second kinetic was doing the same thing, and I ordered a battery to replace it. But at the same time I ordered this winder for them both. Well, it somehow revived the second kinetic and now it's at full charge without needing to replace the battery! I don't think I've ever seen them at full charge. So, before you go out and buy a replacement battery for your kinetics, try this charger. It worked great for me.

Works great for kinetic watches
Do the instructions exactly, works perfectly. Best value winder that I have found. Runs very good and quiet. Well built, no rattles. Amazing winder. Thrilled that I purchased this one. Recommend

No power
Can't know if it works. Doesn't come with a way to power it! Listing doesn't mention that!

Effective watch winder
Product works well as intended. Small enough for two watches Easy to use, USB power supply, does not need a battery, doesn’t look bad, not very noisy, but you can hear it ticking on every swing if it’s next to you on your nightstand,

Spot on.
What a watch winder. This has charged my seiko kinetic watch with no problems. You have spaces for two watches a great bit of kit. If you have automatic watches or kinetic watches this is the one. A little bit loud. But not to bad. I would recommend it. Great value.

Works for Seiko Kinetic, but a bit brittle
Fully charges my Seiko Kinetics in about 12 hours. Kinetics need a whiplashing motion to charge, and this is the least expensive winder that can wind two Kinetics at once. The winder itself is fairly quiet. The Kinetic rotors are much louder and the dominant source of noise. The plastic doesn't seem too strong, however.
