After looking at reviews and descriptions of several picture lights on AMZ, chose this one - a super deal for $29. The only issue was the color of the fixture itself. It's more of a copper gold rather than a gold leaf color, so I sprayed it my preferred gold color and it came out great. Also, I used mounting screws I had instead of the included shiny ones with the silver caps. Much better look. As others mentioned, the charge indicator window on the thing bothered me, so at first I turned it around. However, the light that it casts is slightly different. Ended up just using as designed and got past the goofy charge window. Haven't had it long enough to report on charge longevity, but it hasn't moved off of the 3 light full charge indicator. All in all, it's a classy looking fixture for a very reasonable price, does what it's supposed to, and seems well built. Very pleased. Update 1/15 - Within the 3 'color temperatures', there's about 6 brightness settings. Mine is about the middle brightness setting and I got over 40 hours of use before needing a charge - not bad.

Love the look but I mounted the lightbar backward so it doesn’t blind those sitting close by in my dining room. Fairly easy to mount but based on other reviews I used longer screws than were sent in package. I like the variety of settings on the remote which operates easily. Gold finish does NOT have a pinkish cast — matches other brass fittings on furnishings. I’m pleased.

I purchased this light -- my second -- to illuminate two framed photos mounted on a wall one above the other in a dimly lit corner. The quality is surprisingly good, the adjustable light-color options ideal, they are easy to mount on the wall and, being powered by a rechargeable battery, they don't have a cord or need a nearby wall outlet. The remote control is handy as well. It is a good product that works well. But it really only illuminates the top one. Still, recommended.

I had purchased a new picture recently and planned to put it in our dining room. This area tends to be a bit dark at times even with the lights on over the dining table. I wanted a portrait light to illuminate the new picture but not have cords dangling down the wall. The light also needed to be wide enough to help light the picture which is about 3 ft wide by 2 ft tall. I chose this product because it was one of the wider cordless portrait lights, had a relatively long lasting battery and offered options to dim the light and also provided option for a few different hues (bight white to yellow and a combination of these). The remote control that came with the product was easy to use and came with a battery installed. The battery inside of the lamp needs to be charged with the included cord. One end of the cord appears to be a type C adapter and that plugs into the side of the lamp. The other end of the cord has a USB adapter. A transformer is not included but we have several USB power units around the house. It charged within about an hour plugging it in. The installation was a bit tricky. There are basically three parts to the installation. The cordless cylindrical lamp. The wall support with a magnetic half cylinder to grip the lamp and attached metal rod. A metal plate that is to be screwed to the metal rod and then the plate screwed to the wall above the picture. There was a small plastic bag with two sets of screws (two appear to be stainless steel and the other two brass), plastic wall anchors, some small rubber washers and two steel colored caps that can be placed over the screw heads to conceal them once on the wall. The only thing that appears to have been missing was a machine screw to attach the metal wall plate to the end of the metal rod. After a trip to ACE hardware with the metal rod in hand, by some trial and error, I was able to buy a tiny machine screw about 6 mm dia with a length of about 1 cm. Some reviewers commented that the plastic wall anchors supplied were not good. I did not need the anchors as I was lucky enough to have wall studs in the spot I needed to attach the plate to the wall. If you did need the drywall anchors you might want to head back to the hardware store as the anchors provided did seem to be of too large of a diameter to secure using the supplied steel or brass screws. Overall I am very happy with the product but it did take a little more effort to attach than hoped.

Installed it over our family pictures and really like it. Looks great.

Heavy duty built. Doesn’t look or feel cheap. Product is very well made. Remote options and rechargeable is a super bonus. So happy with this product I have order 3 black and now 2 more in the gold. Will certainly recommend.

Love this light but the anchors they provide don't work, they are too large for the provided screws so I ended up drilling holes in my wall with useless anchors and having to purchase a kit from the hardware store and re-install it, they should really fix this issue as I see dozens of complaints about it too.

The lights are very nice. The hardware looks great. They are adjustable and the color is fabulous with several different options. My gallery wall looks awesome.

Easy (for my husband) to install, looks great and just highlights a nice picture at the top of the stairs. I’ve had it on for a couple of hours most evenings for a few weeks now and not had to charge it yet! Going to buy another

Delighted with this picture light. Elegant and beautifully finished. A quality product that came with all fixings and even spare screws and screw caps. Will buy more if they come back in stock.
