This keypad and keychain combo can't be beat. They were easy to program with Craftsman garage door opener. The instructions and mounting for the keypad were super straight-forward. It took maybe 15 minutes start to finish to mount and program it all up. It looks as good, if not better than the original keypad and the keypresses definitely feel more positive and responsive. I haven't had 1 missed combination yet in the months its been up. The keychains are awesome, no more leaving a remotes clipped to the visor, creating a security risk if you park outside from time to time (thieves will break in to steal those to come back later to gain access to your home). These keychains remove that attack surface, as you will always have them with you on your keys! I've got a Craftsman garage door opener that had a keypad that stopped responding on certain numbers. We had been fighting it for years. With as easy as this was to install and how great it works, I am kicking myself for not doing this a long time ago. By default it beeps on keypress (our prior pad did not, so you never knew if it actually registered the keypress) To me the beep is super helpful, so I left it on, but you can turn it off if you do not like that.

This worked great to replace our old one that quit working. I just made sure that it was compatible completely before ordering. Everything paired well and installed easily seemed like a great value.

Purchased to replace a 9 year old Chamberlain keypad that was getting hard to use. The directions were actually great and it synced up no problem. The keychains were a bonus and worked once I figured out to change the mode (in the directions). The only functionality that doesn't seem supported is toggling to single press close (pressing Enter to close without code). I won't take a full star away because of that but perhaps it deserves 4.5 stars.

It’s rare (for me) when tech works right the first time. This did. Very quick and painless to program, works flawlessly with my Craftsman opener. Instructions were clear. Just as importantly it didn’t screw up my car homelink settings. So far, working better than my OEM openers. Earns the 5 stars.

Have an older Craftsman opener (purple learn button). The old Craftsman remote would no longer close the door. Opening was iffy. Tried this one. Programming was easy and straight forward. As others have noted, the one button close does not work. It may work once after making sure it is activated but does not work after that. Not a show stopper but I did take off one star for that. Other than that it works great. Used the same screw holes as the old one. Even the dirt lines left from the old remote lined up with the new one.

Works better than the manufacturer's. Has tones when you hit a button, which the original doesn't. Easy to program and has been working great since I have purchased it. And the cost is so much better than buying the brand name, which is 40% higher.

Terrible product do not purchase. I spent over two hours trying to get the keyless remote to connect with my opener and it will not. I have three sets of instructions. One that came with the opener, one that came with the keyless remote, and one on the lid of the keyless remote. They are all slightly different instructions. I tried each set several times and nothing works.

So far so good. I called different garage door companies near me and no one had my part. One company suggested Amazon and so out of desperation I thought why not. It's been about 4 months and it works perfectly. The only problem I had was getting it to program with my door opener. So, its about a 5 step process. After the light blinks press this button and so on. The directions were actually wrong for my model opener. So in short, I tried programing it under a different Liftmaster model and it worked. Item is made in China but for 36.00 dollars, why not. Item looks exactly like the original one.
