Good monitor for the price
As others have mentioned, while not "ideal" this monitor is good for the price (I paid less than $70 US when I purchased my monitor). I was previously using an aging 23 inch TV as my "monitor". However, that TV was in the process of dying, so I found this monitor on Amazon. After a few minutes of setup, the monitor worked to provide video and audio to both my computer (a Raspberry Pi) and my XBox series S (both devices connected via an HDMI switch I have). While this monitor is not what I would call "perfect", it does do a decent job of meeting all of my "must have" needs. In my ideal world, I would have liked the monitor control buttons to be on the front (for example on the bottom of the bezel) where they would have been more easily reachable, instead of the awkward action of moving your hand to the rear of the monitor every time you want to adjust the monitor (even when that adjustment is just raising or lowering the audio volume). Also, even with an "external speaker" (which I have) the sound isn't great. Still the video is decent and the sound is functional, so I have little complaints on the lack of "premium features" on this "budget monitor". NOTE: One thing I did find out (from experimentation with my monitor) is that you can turn this monitor on/off with an external switch that you plug the monitor's power adapter into. This is handy, as you can position that external switch to be easy to reach, preventing you from needing to reach around to the back of the monitor to use the official monitor power button. NOTE: When I first tried this monitor with my XBox, I was getting an annoying buzz on the audio. However, I eventually tracked this problem down to the XBox audio settings. Apparently my old TV had some support for "Dolby Stereo", and so I had previously enabled that audio option in my XBox. The problem was when I switched to this monitor (which lacks Dolby audio), there was a mismatch between what audio the XBox was trying to send and what this monitor could accept. Once I realized that was the problem, it was a simple matter to go into the XBox audio settings and tell the console to only send basic uncompressed stereo to the monitor (and the buzz problem immediately went away).

A Game-Changer: Sceptre 22-inch 1080P LED Monitor (E225W-19203R) Review
Let me start by saying that I absolutely, unequivocally, LOVE my new Sceptre 22-inch 1080P LED Monitor (E225W-19203R). It has been a complete game-changer for my workspace and content creation setup. One of the main reasons I decided to invest in this monitor was because my laptop screen had seen better days. Instead of shelling out a small fortune to repair it, I decided to explore more cost-effective options. Enter the Sceptre 22-inch monitor, and boy, was that a brilliant decision. Not only did it save me a ton of money, but it also opened up a whole new world of screen space for me to work with. The first thing that struck me was the stunning clarity of this monitor. The 1080P resolution and 75Hz refresh rate ensure that every image and video looks razor-sharp. As a content creator, this level of detail is invaluable, especially for tasks like video editing and graphic design. It's like seeing your work in a whole new light, and I couldn't be happier with the visual quality it offers. But that's not all! The Sceptre monitor is also a fantastic companion for gaming. With its 1080P resolution and smooth 75Hz refresh rate, it handles even graphically demanding games with ease. The colors are vibrant, and the response time is impressive. It's truly transformed my gaming experience, adding a level of immersion I didn't know I was missing. The inclusion of two HDMI ports and a VGA port gives me the flexibility to connect multiple devices seamlessly, making it a versatile addition to my setup. Whether I'm switching between my laptop, gaming console, or another device, it's a breeze. Oh, and the built-in speakers! While I wasn't expecting studio-quality sound, the integrated speakers are surprisingly decent. They're perfect for casual use, such as watching YouTube videos or participating in video calls without the need for external speakers. In conclusion, the Sceptre 22-inch 1080P LED Monitor (E225W-19203R) has been a monumental upgrade for my content creation and gaming setup. It's more than just a screen; it's an investment in productivity, entertainment, and, most importantly, saving some hard-earned cash. The authentic joy I've experienced with this monitor is undeniable, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone looking for a cost-effective and quality display solution.

Great monitor at an affordable price
My wife needed a monitor for when she works from home so we decided to check out this spectre monitor. Works great and has pretty good picture quality for when I play video games. We bought it twice so she had more windows open while working. Highly recommended

Decent monitor for the price. Speakers are unusable.
I usually use a 15 inch 4k portable monitor as my second screen in my setup, but have always considered getting a slightly bigger screen. I prefer a smaller sized monitor because as my secondary monitor I only use it to play videos or movies in the background, or connect to my other consoles like a Switch or Playstation. For this reason, it was essential for my secondary monitor to have built in speakers. This 22 inch monitor is a great size for my setup. It is very lightweight and quite thin for the most part. Its thin bezels make it a great addition to have in portrait next to my main monitor. The 1080p is sufficient for most of my needs, but coming from a 4k all the colors looked washed out and pale without HDR. Unfortunately this is one of the main reasons for returning this monitor. Another unfortunate quality of this monitor is the built in speakers, which was my deciding factor for returning it. The speaker quality is very poor, practically unusable. I understand that you're not supposed to expect stellar quality for built in speakers, but the sound is very thin and distorted with very low volume level maxed out. My portable monitor's speakers were more akin to a phone's speaker so you can hear things clear enough and the frequencies are more balanced. I was very disappointed with the Sceptre's speakers. Sadly for me, this monitor didn't meet my needs. But for what it is I think it's a decent monitor. It's excellent for smaller spaces or as a portrait monitor. Pretend these don't have speakers at all. I did a quick monitor test for it and I didn't experience any horrible light bleeding and as a used - like new item, no dead pixels present. It feels like a decent monitor for the $80 I spent on it. Will be returning.

For the PC enthusiast on a budget. Best budget tertiary screen on Amazon.
Exactly as advertised. This is NOT a gaming monitor, please do not expect to get a great gaming experience from it. What it IS, is a highly durable, highly mobile, lightweight second monitor that can do pretty much anything not resolution demanding. In the roughly year I have been using this monitor, there has been zero flickering. This is a excellent low cost second monitor, with IPS panel levels of response times. That is to say, the panel has an extremely quick response time, and shows no ghosting or afterimages even during action scenes in movies.

Love it!
I will start with the fact that I do not understand the intricacies of gaming graphics so I cannot speak on anything there. What I can say as a full-time college student and light gamer is that this monitor is wonderful! Super easy to get set up, looks really nice when I play games or watch movies, and has yet to give me any trouble. I use plug-in speakers, so I'm not entirely sure how good they sound. The buttons on the back let you change the color brightness and tint of your screen; I've cycled through them all, and they give you plenty of options. I've used it to connect to both a laptop and a desktop, and everything runs fine. It seems fairly priced and works great, so I do plan on purchasing another monitor from this company to finish my desktop setup!

Good value but inconsistent size and design.
I have purchased 3 of these from Amazon in the past couple of years. When on sale the price dips below $90 which I think is a great value but I have only seen it happen twice in 2 years time. It's a good monitor with nice picture quality and good features. That beings said though be careful if ordering more than one for a matching setup because as you can see from my pictures out of the 3 I have purchased one of them is smaller in size, shape, and has a slightly thinner frame around it than the other two even though I purchased all 3 from Amazon themselves and from the same listing that I have had saved in my shopping list for past couple of years. The have the exact same model number except the slightly smaller one has a 1 at the end of the model number. I don't know if this is normal or a mistake but either way they all work great they just look different which is why I had to buy 3 total in order to get two that matched perfectly side by side for my dual monitor setup. I gave the 3rd odd ball one to my son because he needed an upgrade as well so it at all worked out in the end. Weirdly enough though the 3rd one I ordered matched the original one I ordered 2 years ago instead of the 2nd one that I had purchased a week ago so that means Amazon must of a mixture of both in their current inventory.

Nice monitor
Great cheap monitor. Does not have any speakers, but the visuals work as intended and the cables in the back are very easy to connect. Doesn’t feel the most durable, but that’s because it’s on the thinner side. It’s still functional and responsive
