Je suis vraiment enchantée par ce défroisseur ! Il fonctionne très bien et défroisse les vêtements rapidement. Pas besoin de passer plusieurs fois au même endroit : en déplaçant l'appareil à une vitesse normale, les plis disparaissent très bien. Le seul petit bémol serait la capacité du réservoir d'eau, que je trouve plutôt petite. Par contre, je comprends parfaitement que la quantité d'eau influence directement le poids de l'appareil. Personnellement, je préfère de loin remplir le réservoir entre chaque chemise plutôt que de me retrouver avec un bras fatigué après en avoir défroissé seulement deux ! Pour moi, sa légèreté est un véritable avantage. Un petit conseil aux futurs acheteurs : si, comme moi, vous avez une eau plutôt calcaire à la maison, prenez le temps de vérifier les recommandations du fabricant concernant l'eau à utiliser. J'ai déjà brisé un ancien défroisseur à cause du calcaire. Personnellement, je privilégie l'eau déminéralisée lorsque le fabricant le permet, afin de limiter les dépôts. Finalement, cette mauvaise expérience avec mon ancien appareil aura eu au moins un côté positif : elle m'a permis de découvrir ce merveilleux défroisseur ! Je suis vraiment satisfaite de mon achat et je le recommande grandement. Il est pratique, efficace et surtout agréable à utiliser !

I forgot to review this thing. It’s awesome! Heats up very quickly. I can steam the inside of my ball caps to clean them, and just about anything because of the long cord. You can squeeze the trigger continuously or I’ve learned to squeeze the trigger let go and you get about four or five seconds of steam. Never had a single problem out of this and I think I’ve had it for 2 years now. It’s 1200w so it makes good steam. I didn’t want a higher wattage cause I don’t think it’s necessary and want longevity. The only time I get water on my clothes is when I’m physically touching the garment, otherwise I don’t get water spots and you can hold it in any position. If you’ve ever made coffee in Keurig, that’s what the little pump sounds like when you squeeze the trigger.

Not suitable for UK

It works but nothing special. Rowenta is a name brand product. I would have expected more. However, if you want a basic steamer, this is that. Pros: lightweight. Nice color choices. Cons: Small water container. Takes two or three refills to steam a regular women’s top.

With a full water tank, it produces enough steam to handle both the front and back of a heavily wrinkled dress shirt. If you're quick, you can even get through a shirt and a pair of trousers before needing a refill. While the unit is a bit large for travel (I wish it were more compact to fit better in my suitcase), its size contributes to a well-balanced, comfortable grip during use. I picked it up on sale, which made it an above-average value for the price. Bottom line: It works well, gets the job done quickly, and won’t break the bank.
