Great looking little jug stops a lot of scale in the kettle very strong and sturdy doesn’t leak good value for money

I am so glad I purchased this filter jug, it is a perfect fit for my fridge door, light enough to lift, very easy to fill/top up, and the filtration is great, I love the fact that paired with my new Breville hot water dispenser, I am now getting a very tasty cup of tea, without all the rubbish that comes with unfiltered water, and as the limescale has damaged my previous Breville one cup, I am so happy with my recent purchase. Can recommend this without a doubt. Loved the speedy delivery too.

This is a decent water jug, my only gripe is it's the same one as I had a number of years ago and if I had realised I would have gone for a different model. The blue plastic is very brittle and prone to breaking which is what happened to my last one. I'll just have to try to take extra care when in use. The filtration is ok you just have to remember to not over fill it because when you pour the water in the upper part will pour out as well and leak into the filtered water, so my recommendation is to fill the blue part and once that has filtered through DON'T add any more water, my guess is you get about 1 litre of water which should be enough and it doesn't take too long to filter through. The jug is just about the right size to fit in the door in most refrigerators.

I live in a hard water area where drinking tap water is the norm. I had to stop drinking tap water because it tasted bitter and had to resort to buying bottled mineral water. Then, I saw the reviews for this Water Filter Jug and thought to give it a try. The taste of the water has completely changed, almost tasting like bottled spring water and the appearance of the filtered water is crystal clear with all the impurities removed. This saves a lot of effort and money overall.

Works really well. We bought this to replace our old BRITA jug. It’s nice that it has an easy opening cap on the end where the water comes out, gives you a bit of peace of mind that dust isn’t getting in there when not used. Pours well and fits nicely inside a medium fridge door. Easy to clean and has a handy screen that tells you when a filter needs replacing.

Very pleased with the quality and aesthetics of this filter jug. The capacity is sufficient for 1 - 2 people's needs. Filter speed is very good - not too slow - not too fast (you need a, sufficient time for the water to pass through the filter. There is a built-in battery powered indicator in the lid to warn you of the effectiveness of the filter, showing a graduated display of how long it should last - just push the button to start the countdown.I bought separately Leica Evolve+ cartridges which fit perfectly with no leakage at all - but they need a simple "widget" (included) to work. The water exiting has no negative taste issues.. I mainly use filtered water against hard water scum & chlorine.

I live in the Thames Water area and therefore get hard water from my tap. It leaves amazing levels of calcium and magnesium carbonate behind when it dries out around my sinks and basins etc., and when making drinks like tea produces a 'scum' that floats on the surface. I have been drinking black coffee more than tea, probably as a result of this, and thought getting a water filter would cut the impact of the hard water in my drinking water. And it does just that! Simple to set up – far less bother than the Brita filter I owned back in the '90s – and the water tastes 'sweeter'. Not literally sweet but more pleasant and palatable than straight from the tap.For that reason, plus possible health benefits, I strongly recommend it. Anything that could get me drinking more water and improve the quality of my tea is very welcome. But, one proviso. I thought the softer water it produces would improve the flavour of my coffee. But it doesn't – after a bit of research and consulting with Professor Google, it seems that hard water extracts better flavour from ground coffee. So I would not recommend one for improving your filtered fresh coffee.
