This ankle ice pack was worth every penny and then some of the $8 I paid. The shape wraps nicely around my ankle for good coverage, it has a smooth side and a velour side, the smooth is a little more direct cold and the velour side provides a little "dampening" of the cold. The elastic strap works well to hold it in place, I can even walk around with it on. It took me a day or two to realize the end of the strap has velcro on both sides so that you can wear this smooth side or velour side in or our and the strap will work either way As for the size, I have a tendency to over ice and from what I understand, more than 20 minutes can start to work against you. With this pack, I get cooling for about 20 minutes before it has run out of cooling. This is a great timer for me.

I have plenty of reputable ice packs that work well enough, but in decided to treat myself with one designed specifically for an ankle. It's so much better than the boxy square ones it applies the cold evenly across the whole able for some A+ relief. The velcro strap being reversable and one side being more insulated are the cherries and whipped cream on top. 10/10, no notes.

I enjoy the way it's made to fit any size ankle - just wish it stayed cold longer.

I've been using it for over a year. If you have any need to reduce inflammation in your foot do not hesitate to purchase. The band still tightly wraps over my foot and I use it regularly. This is a great product!

Okay product if you are in a pinch. Personally I have conflicting feelings on it... Positive: - dont need a towel to wear this. - compact and area specific - has a strap to hold it on Negative: - only stays cold 5-10 mins max - the velcro is not good, any movement and the ice pack unfastens itself and runs away Overall decision: Is kind of helping the swelling in my current injury, but I would prefer to use my back ice pack with towel and ace bandage to get the inflammation relief my injury needs. Would not buy again, but would not return as its already touched my feet.

Waiting on it because I see my doc soon, but pretty sure I've got a stronger flare up of extensor tendonitis. Usually compression has not been good, but also I found that using a mini cold pack felt like it made it worse, and I think it was because it wasn't really suited to the shape of the foot and ankle, as opposed to this thing, which feels 1) amazing, 2) like it is making broad and uniform contact with the whole area, and 3) like it is neither too much or too little pressure, since it's very adjustable. Because they're reversible and I got a pack of two, I've been getting just the amount and level of cold I need. Wrapping it around is pretty intuitive, but what's nice is that the velcro on the end can be folded over to shorten it by a couple inches, without it losing strength or starting to pull apart, so it stays steady and retains a good fit. Having the same level of contact and pressure across the area is helpful. Despite that it leaves indentations on my skin, the uniformity makes it more comfortable and -actually- helpful for the area, when trying to do something similar before was making it worse instead. So this is a great change. Especially if you want something to go near or on a joint, it's worth getting for the difference in trying to wrestle or deal with something that isn't designed for, well, bendy parts of your body. I've also had some other, larger and very flexible ice packs, but they ended up being too heavy, and this hasn't, so I would rec this over, well, something big and squarish or rectangular, because weight does matter.

While it wraps nicely around the ankle it doesn’t stay cold for long 15 mins at the most.

Of all the ankle wraps/cool packs I tried for my sprained ankle, this one works the best. While it's a bit fiddly to put on, an advantage is that it goes over the top of the foot, allowing me to walk around my apartment while wearing it. I would recommend it.

I have used it many times and it has lasted very well. I recommend it!
