Midnight Black Origami Paper | 100 Sheets, 15cm Square

I was given the task to create 100 origami penguins, so I searched and found this paper at Amazon. At first, I could not see from the picture if one side was in fact white, so I was a bit worried that I might have wasted my money if that had happened. However, the paper is a rich matte black finish with white on the reverse, so it really is perfect for penguins! The paper came with some free instructions to begin origami; these were folded animals which I didn't try, but there was also some free multi-coloured sheets which were very handy to practice on, and as a result I've got a few funky-coloured penguins as well! Also worth mentioning, I found 101 sheets of black paper in the pack, so a spare one if you mess up - which luckily I didn't as the paper is of a good quality and worked very well for the job in hand. Excellent value, would definitely recommend.

I've bought Folded Square papers numerous times. Usually, they are of great quality and the designs are quite stunning. For this reason, when I needed to fold a heap of penguins, I didn't hesitate but to buy from Folded Square again. However, this time I've not been happy. The paper simply was not a perfect square, which is imperative for origami. Sadly, I have had to abandon my project and buy some more black single sided origami paper elsewhere.

Thought the paper was black on both sides however it's not, still a good product though and worth the price

Really nice quality black origami paper, with a white back. Excellent for making penguins and cubes :) Looking forward to making more complex origami with it. Will definitely buy this paper again.

The cut of the paper is not a perfect square which is so frustrating. The quality is pretty good but I had better paper at a better price.

Paper quality is great... apart from the fact that the sheets I have tried folding are a fraction of a millimetre off square. This is ultimately frustrating, though probably isn't a huge deal for some. I am a bit annoyed as I chose this product over others as it specifically said it was high precision.

My daughter loves this paper. She has to make penguins for her school homework, so it was good to find a pack completely devoted to just two colours. Black with reverse white. The penguins look stunning. Very pleased with the product and especially the service. I shall use this company again.

Comme le papier est mat, il laisse des traces de doigt. Les couleurs ne sont pas assez profondes.

NO ME HA GUSTADO, PORQUE LA DESCRIPCION NO ES MUY PRECISA, PONE QUE ES PAPEL PARA ORIGAMI, PERO CUANDO LO UTILIZAS SE RAJA Y SE DESCASCARILLA POR LO QUE LAS FIGURAS NO SE VEN DE UN COLOR HOMOGENEO YA QUE EL PAPEL SE VE BLANCO POR DONDE ESTA ROTO.

Nice paper, folds good. I heard the paper had to come from Japan to be any good for the tight folds. Not so. These blooks from across the pond do up some good sheets. Nice packaging too! Now what do I do with all these damn birds around the house! Folded Square. OK!

White on one side black on the other. In actuality you have to fold it very carefully to avoid the white showing through but it is so sturdy it's excellent.
