Lens Hood

It's a well-built metal hood like all the other JJC stuff I've bought, but it doesn't snug onto the lens ring bayonet very well. I'm keeping it because I like it overall...I folded up a tiny piece of paper to wedge inside the edge of the hood, and it grabs a lot better.

These look good adding a unique look to the GR but fit is poor. After attaching it does not fit securely. I elected to return it.

Provides great protection from stray light. I just wish it fit a bit better.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Have GRIIIX need hood.

Doesn't sit very tight on camera lens, idea is good, execution rather mediocre

The build quality its amazing but it fits really loose on the GR III im afraid it might fall any time when intake it out. It should be perfect given the price that it’s not low.

I like the protection this hood provides to the lens, but it keeps loosening with every minor contact, like when I put the camera in my bag. 😒 Fortunately, it's only fallen out once inside the bag. The hood definitely needs to be improved.

Build quality is fine but the design lacks, there is no locking mechanism for the hood to not unscrew from the GR. The UV cover also offered isn’t integrated to this system, just a double sided tape to seal the lens. It is fine, but not great.

The hood looks nice but it fits very loosely. I had to add some paper in order to get a tight fit. The plastic cap on the other hand is a tight fit. Other than esthetics this is not quite useful. Camera is no longer pocketable and even more, now it has an extra weight to it. This was an impulse buy and I don't recommend it.
